55 reviewsErice was a wonderful and beautiful medieval mountain town,my wife and I were fortunate to spend the night there,we stayed at the hotel moderno, which was a charming family run hotel, breakfast came with the room, and I have to say the cappuccino was delicious and so was the apricot filled croissant, with their homemade fig spread from their own fig trees that they grow their, we ate dinner at monte San Giuliano The mixed fish appetizer was fabulous the fish could not of been fresher my wife had a fresh fish called Amber Jack and it was delicious, I had the lamb chops with pistachio and it just melted in your mouth, afterwords take a little walk and stop and have dessert at pasticcera grammatico the cucidati (fig cookie)are delicious,The nighttime in a Erice is magical all the tourist leave and you have the whole town to yourself the castle and the church are just beautiful, The views are incredible, if you ever had the opportunity to spend the night there do it
