173 reviewsWe stayed here as a stopover on our way to the start of the AV1 in the Dolomites. We were upgraded to the ‘grand hotel’ with its esteemed history as the princess’ castle and impressive theatre. The breakfast was superb value for 5e. Pretty view and gardens. A stone’s throw from the train station and the quirky ‘station bar’. It is ten minutes walk from Hans Pizzeria where a reservation is necessary. We missed out but it was very busy, with a queue to get in. The staff were friendly and directed us to the bus station (fifteen minute walk). It was very easy to get a direct bus to Lago di Braies.
