481 reviewsI have been staying at Hotel Splendid for years, each time I travel to Italy, I love to make a stop in Cattolica and the Hotel Splendid. It has been a family run business ever since I have been going there, the owner is onsite everyday and truly cares about the hotel's appearance and service. I have read the previous reviews and completely disagree with them. I have always travelled there in June or July, the beach and hotel is very active. The hotel has many events to keep it's guest happy from amazing kid's nights to workouts by the pool in the morning. The value for the money is fantastic, the food and service has always been stellar. The location is also a plus, it is directly on the beach and close to shopping and restaurants although I have rarely tried the restaurants because with meal plan you get 3 amazing full meals a day. When I have been there the last few times they had bikes available for the guests to borrow to get around town quicker. I highly recommend giving this hotel a try. I looked at the website that one review discussed, all the pictures do give a true representation of this hotel. I always look forward to heading back there for holiday.
