What was good
The Hotel was clean, it was a tranquil haven - the staff were super friendly and the owner warm and welcoming with a wonderful philosophical outlook on life. The breakfast was a lovely buffet, great pastries, coffee and fruit with attentive staff.
What was bad
Nothing about the hotel was disappointing - and it is a very convenient location for getting to Pompei and other sites around Naples. There is a free shuttle to the train station every few hours - the walk only takes 10 to 15 minutes - the road however can be quite tricky as there are no pavements for part of it. I would just avoid the months of July or August as the weather is very hot at this time. The hotel and staff for me were such a plus that I would go and stay at this hotel again.
