Acacia Appartamenti

Stayed here in high heat in August and was a little worried that we had not stumped up the extra for the air con. However with the shutters open at night a gentle zephyr blew through the studio apartment throughout the night. Yes there is noise from the street below, but we live in the sticks a mile or more from the nearest street light and don't mind something a little livelier now and again and hey, the Italians always do good lively. The best part about Acacia apartments is its location. Fall out of the door and you are on the beach in Cala Ganone, a skip and a giggle from some super bars and restaurants and a supermarket with beach supply shop upstairs. Cala Ganone is a popular destination particularly in the month when we travelled and most of the people who joined us on the beach had accommodation up the hill at the back of the town and either walked up and down or suffered the experience of parking the car which can be a bit of a trial in this town. The studio apartment had everything we needed for our stay, the view from the terrace was a particular highlight for both lunch and aperitivo and the owners who reside in a hotel a hundred yards up the road couldn't have been more helpful.
