Owners nor staff were Irish, however they were most courteous and understand hospitality. Our room was outstanding and very modern and clean with a great view. The breakfast was very good. Would recommend. Just out of town but this was not a problem.

Very good B&B

It is in the beautiful countryside. Our room had a great view over a field of grazing cows. It is close to main street to continue to Dingle Peninsula and Ring of Kerry, it was what we were expecting and we got. Very nice staff, comfortable and clean room the entire stay. Breakfast was fresh.

Comfortable rooms

Beautiful settings all round. Perfect service from staffs and owner herself. The cleanliness of the facilities are impeccable. There's even a beautiful library with lots of books to browse through. The comfortable beds ensured our 2 nights here are memorable. Will definitely come again

A Gem in Killarney

Kathleen’s Country Guest House lives up the name! Nestled in the beautiful countryside and waking up to a field of grazing cows from my window was perfect. The entire stay was delightful and the proximity to main street Killarney, the National Forest, Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula worked well for my travel needs. At check in, I was greeted by a very warm welcome by Lin, who was exceptionally accommodating the entire stay. Breakfast was delicious and ample and the room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this gem of a bed and breakfast!

A wonderful place to stay

Kathleen's Guest House stands on its own grounds at the edge of Killarney town with views of farm fields.  I had a wonderful three night stay with delicious cooked to order breakfast in a delightful dining area. The room accommodations were clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated.  There is plenty of parking for guests and the sitting areas throughout the house made a cozy and comfy atmosphere for the guests.  From check-in to check-out the staff, especially Lin, went above and beyond to make my stay special in Killarney, Ireland.

Great Stay!

Just outside Killarney, not walking distance to town centre. Free parking on site. Very clean, comfortable modern rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Our room was on ground level which was a bonus. Very good breakfast.

Beautiful house and rooms. All little extras in bathroom and beds very comfortable and spotless.
Breakfast was like an adventure with multiple choices of very fresh and healthy food.
Staff so nice.
Overall, a wonderful night away as I had not been well all year so a one night only made a difference to me !
The friendliness of the host was second to none and I would really recommend this lovely place !!

Feel great !!

A group of 9 of us stayed at Kathleens for a weekend break to Killarney.
From the time of booking until checking out, everything was made incredibly hassle free by the wonderful staff who run this Country house.
Rooms and communal areas spotless. Delicious breakfast. Very attentive staff who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Would thoroughly recommend. 

Top marks

Out of town and too far to walk on the busy road to any amenities, but an easy drive in a few minutes.. A nicely presented hotel with clean rooms and a good breakfast, all served, no buffet.
Kathleen has retired so we didn’t get the “irish experience” that we were anticipating from the name.
A large open garden and some garden furniture was produced when we asked.

Nice place but no Kathleen!

Visited as four friends in May and delighted by the welcome and attentive service from the new owner Alice, ably accompanied by Margaret. Lovely and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and legendary breakfast and delightful gardens. A perfect location for exploring Kilarney. Highly recommended.
