Cannot say enough good things about this terrific B&B!  Wonderful host, Nigel and Siobahn, who made our stay one of best during our trip.  Glorious room, clean, spacious, really comfortable, large bed. A super delicious and large breakdast, eaten in a sunny, bright Sun room, full of blooming orchids.  Lovely farm, even if the rooster decided we needed a 5 am alarm!  Made for a funny story in our travels around southern Ireland.

We only stayed here one night on the first leg of our Wild Atlantic Way trip but wished we could have been here a bit longer in order to work our way through one of the best B&B breakfast menus I have ever seen.  My choice was eggs Benedict, as I knew there would be lots of "full Irish" breakfasts later on, and I wasn't disappointed.  Siobhan is a lovely hostess and gave us suggestions for dinner in Kinsale.  All in all, a good experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone to this beautiful house.

We have just returned from a great break to Harbour Hill Farm. We were a family of 9 travelling from the UK & Canada. Siobhan & Nigel were great hosts, very friendly and knowledgeable.

Harbour Hill is a great place to stay. Rooms are extremely clean and comfortable and the breakfast is lovely.  Would definitely recommend.

Great trip

A lovely B&B with a comfortable bed and excellent breakfast.  Situated close to the historic town of Kinsale.  I recommend a visit to Charles Fort and taking part in one of their tours.
Bed: Excellent: Large and comfortable
Breakfast: Excellent: Fresh produce freshly cooked - Lots of choice and plenty of it - Buffet for cereals, etc. - Hot food order taken in the morning - Homemade bread and scones which we took for our lunch
Room: Very Good: Large - Two seat sofa - Small TV with poor reception - Thin curtains that let in lots of light
En-suite: OK: Shower very weak and temperature fluctuated - Finish a bit tatty - On the plus side, lots of "pretty" toiletries
Common Areas: Very Good: Lounge for guests and large garden - Spacious rooms used for breakfast
Cleanliness: Excellent: Very well presented
Location: Very Good: Few km out of town, so nice and quite - Good starting point for our walk to Charles Fort and then town - Nearest restaurant about 1km away
View: Good: Looks out towards the sea, but view is mainly obscured by trees
Owners/Staff: Very welcoming and helpful - checked we knew where to go - Good information provided in the room

Explanatory note: My wife and I spent 15 nights in Ireland and Northern Ireland this summer.  We stayed in 8 different places (5 B&Bs, 1 Pub, 1 Apartment and 1 Hotel) - two nights in each, except for 1 B&B that was just for one night.  In reviewing each of these, I decided to rate them all using the same set of categories - Bed, Breakfast, Room, En-suite, Common Areas, Cleanliness, Location and View.  Within each category I have rated them as either Exceptional, Very Good, Good, OK or Poor, and then determined a Best and Runner Up (as noted above, if relevant).  I also made some comments (but not ratings) on the owners/staff as well as a brief starting summary (including any recommendation on what to do in the local area).

Loved our stay at Harbour Hill Farm!  The room was beautiful and spacious bathroom.  Breakfast was delicious and special and we sat in a gorgeous sunroom overlooking beautiful gardens.  We really enjoyed Kinsale which is very close ( 5 minutes drive) and hosts had good touring suggestions.  Our feeling was that they really cared about us and their house and took pride in their work.  Very good vibe and positive energy.  Would love to come back!

Fantastic B&B

Our room was perfect. Modern shower and nicely decorated. Breakfast was great! The house was comfortable and updated. Situated on a farm with great views outside of Kinsale. The walk to town was longer than most can probably manage.

Outstanding B and B. Beautiful setting and wonderful hosts.

We only stayed one night in Kinsale but our stay at Harbour Hill Farm was delightful. Siobhán and Nigel are wonderful hosts. Our rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was AMAZING. The grounds are beautiful with flowers everywhere. Would definitely recommend!

Comfortable B&B with outstanding breakfast

An overnight stay at the farm home of Siobhan and Nigel proved to be very pleasant. We were provided with the sea view room. The place was neat and clean with ample facilities. Breakfast was served downstairs and the variety of both continental and cooked food would satisfy the fussiest of eaters. The hot breakfast with a wide choice of egg dishes was freshly cooked and tasty. 
Would we stay here again, definitely.
