Most unwelcoming. Basic room. Angry and rude landlady. Eating area filthy. Dirty delph on table.  Lack of hygienic crockery. Very noisy wooden stairs adjacent to the room. Under no circumstances would I recommend it.   

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. 

Perfect we pleasant stay … nice big room with ensuite, bed was super comfy … Plenty of facilities to make tea.. microwave and supplies all available…. Nice view and nice people …. Was a nice cheap place for us to rest after a long day of travelling …

Pleasant place

A pleasant welcome stop for the night after a long first day in Ireland - in spite of our late arrival. Good, clean accommodation. Shared facilities for tea making, cereal and toast upstairs but that was fine. Good value breakfast.

A little tricky to find in the dark but guided in by the host.

We were supposed to stay at this B&B for two nights. But five days before we were scheduled to arrive we got a very short impersonal email cancelling our stay without giving us further reasons nor alternative accommodation ideas. 

This was especially irritating as we'd had to pay the full price in full when we had booked about 7 months earlier. 

I understand that there are always unforseen circumstances that can cause a cancellation on such short notice. But at the very least I would have expected the owner to arrange an alternative for us or at least give us names to potential other B&Bs in the area. 

This way we were left alone with the hassle of getting our money back and finding an alternative place to stay at for two nights. 

Never had an experience like this with a B&B. Very disappointing.

B&B cancelled on us five days before scheduled arrival

We were at a wedding nearby and booked the same day as we were not originally planning to stay. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. We had a big clean basic bedroom, towels and everything you would expect. The breakfast was really nice and we enjoyed our short stay.

Last minute booking

Absolutely shocking, stayed there for four nights in a smelly cold and damp room, ceilings in room and bathroom full of mold, wouldn't advise anyone to stay there, it's also in the middle of nowhere, just cows

My wife and I stayed for one night recently, and we found it great value. It was very clean, peaceful comfortable, and we found the owners extremely friendly and courteous. 
We left our car down outside Rosie's Bar & Restaurant and we were given a lift down the next morning to collect it. 
Our Breakfast was excellent. 
We would definitely stay there again, and strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a good B&B in the area.

Our one night stay.

We arrived to a 18/20 yr.old dressed in her pyjamas (at 5-30 pm) who continued to look at her mobile, grunted, then left us outside in the wind while she made a call, then told us we were in the house around the corner, proceeded to give us a key each, take us up the the stairs and said which rooms we were in, that was all the communication we had. The room was cool and the beds had only one pillow, we found more in the wardrobe, on our return at 9-30pm the room was still cold.There was no glasses in the bathroom, the curtains had hooks missing and barely touched the window sills (all 3 rooms we hired were the same) at breakfast the young woman was dressed in a football outfit, totally un-proffesional. Breakfast was average, we were asked if it was full breakfast, told there were cereals in the corner, tea or coffee, when we asked for toast, only poor quality white bread arrived, no options, we were asked if we wanted more tea, that was all the conversation we had, we left to pack and no more was said. On returning to one of the rooms there was a foul, acrid smell coming from the toilet, it was so bad it took your breath away. We would not recommend this B&B under any circumstances.We had already paid for it (final payment was taken two days before our travel arrangements) so believed we could not get our money back and may find it difficult in a remote place, to find a double, a twin and a single room at that hour of the day.

Not the wonderful Irish hospitality that we had experienced at 6 other B&Bs total lack of communication
