Staff and service were so welcoming, looked after the whole weekend, surrounding grounds are amazing for a morning walk or sea view, coffee and food served all day and 10/10 credit to the chef aswell as the staff, amazing housekeepers too. Special Big thanks to Grace and Paul made the whole weekend brilliant making sure we had everything we needed ! Can’t wait to stay again.

5 star comfortable experience.

The property was lovely, despite the spitting rain.  Staff were most helpful.  Food was great.  The music on Sunday evening was a delight. I hadn't been back to Dunmore since I was a child and enjoyed every minute.  The ceramic Pumpkin gifted to my Beagle puppy was much appreciated - it's on the fireplace mantel!

Wish I could come back sooner

Six of us spent the weekend here (late fifties was average age of our group). We all loved the hotel, the beds were very comfortable, and the breakfasts were extremely good (all served, not a buffet, and no making your own toast, which I hate having to do!) we ate there one of the nights and all had a very  good meal  -  there was a  great choice on the menu and it was really good value.  The music in the bar was very good and all the staff were very pleasant and helpful.  A lovely olde worlde  hotel in a beautiful part of the world, thanks to all!

Lovely enjoyable stay

We had our wedding in The Haven on September 16th and it was the best day of our lives from start to finish! Paul and Karen and their team made our day so relaxed, so fun and full of memories. Nothing was a hassle and everything ran so smoothly! You can tell they are pro's at this!

From the moment we booked our wedding we felt so welcome and cared for by all in The Haven. The food, the views, the accommodation, I could not recommend this venue more to spend your big day or any day infact.

The main house is a beautiful building that is full of old world charm and surrounded by beautiful grounds and breathtaking views. It is spotless, warm and inviting.
There was no end to the amazing food for our reception and dinner and
afters, everyone is still complimenting it! They also have amazing cocktails and fantastic bar selection.

The decorations and room layout for our dinner stood out to me as a favourite memory, so simple and yet so beautiful. There is no standard way to have a wedding in this hotel, everything is up for grabs and the freedom to do things differently, if you wished, was so appealing to us!

This is a family run hotel that is so welcome it feels like your home and we look forward to returning soon to relive our memories once more.

The Best Week of the Year.

Regular visitor to the hotel for coffee after a walk around the village. Decided to try breakfast today. Breakfast was delicious, if not one of the freshest and tastiest breakfasts I've had. It surpassed some higher rating hotels I've dined in.  Generous amounts of toast, brown bread, and coffee were included. Excellent value for money. Our sever was very friendly and attentive. Looking forward to returning soon! 😋 

Breakfast 

Stayed on 17th of December in this absolutely charming hotel. The hotel has a real country house vibe, with lovely antique furniture and period decor, beautiful high ceilings, cornicing etc. The fine home cooked food was served quickly and well and my God the beef we had for dinner... out of this world. The staff, particularly the younger waiting staff are so friendly and lovely. We enjoyed great music in the bar and the drinks flowed. We had a room with a sea view and it was spotlessly clean. We're booked again in March and it can't come soon enough

Can't wait to go back...

Enjoyable

We recently had  a special "Birthday"  party for my husband at the Haven Hotel. Quite honestly the staff at the Hotel were top class and couldn't do enough for us. The food was delicious and the accommodation was five star and spotlessly clean, we were more than thrilled with how the evening went.  Would highly recommend a visit .

What can i say Paul, Karen and every member of staff in the Haven Hotel thank-you so much for everything you did for us you are just a class act....

From the day we booked our wedding in 2018 to having to reschedule it twice over two years because of Covid.. Karen was just unbelievably helpful nothing was too small a problem and definitely nothing was too big an issue if awards were handed out for Wedding Planner of the Year Karen's name would be on it every year...

Paul is honestly one of the nicest people you could ask to meet. And that also shows in the Haven's brilliant staff. He literally could not do enough for us or could they...

Also like to give a mention to Judy and Jane thank you both for all your help you are fantastic

If your planning on get married make the The Haven hotel your first stop you won't need go elsewhere trust a couple that will talk about our day for the next 50 years
