Pathetic service staff are not aware of what is hospitality, they never care if guests, are under impression they are offering free stay and food not recommended .

No food in resort need to walk 200 to 500 m and bfast for 1 km and no in room dinning

Example for  worst resort in this location

No towels in rooms when we arrived ! 
No pressure on the shower
Bad breakfast : nothing left when we arrived, never get my scrambled eggs I ordered, breakfast manager went out we I asked him to come.....

Disorder

Beautiful place located centre of Kanadukathan..we had a pleasant and peaceful stay...all the staff are kind and friendly...Mr.Gopukumar who arranged rooms foods and bullock ride...the chettiyar palaces are beyond imagination...we got more clearer explanations about the chettinadu history via Kavitha the receptionist where we stayed...we got goosebumps when listening to her...those who love heritage and history must visit this village once in their life..tq everyone.

Most memorable stay!

It was a good place to stay and they were helpful.
I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to experience the heritage village.
Major con is there is no parking. It’s a very small but cute property with around 8 rooms. Food is amazing. Shops around this heritage village could at times be over priced for shopping sarees and baskets.

Great keep it going

Lovely jewel hidden away in the heart of Chettinad region. Proximity to the main town of Karaikudi is an advantage. Lovely Double rooms in serene settings and walking distance to the Chettinadu Mansion their flagship heritage property. We were a group fo 7 who did this road trip in 2 vehicles from Bengaluru for a 4 day holiday. It was a pleasant 8 hour drive each way. We split our stay between Chettinad Court & Chettinad Mansion.The property is well managed by the current head of the family Mr. Chandramouli and his Son Mr. Muthu with their capable team headed by Mr. Gopakumar. Ms. Kavita a vital part of their team is well read on the history of Chettiar's  and the Chettinad Mansion and ever willing to share it to the guests. The Family owns the chain of Resorts, Heritage homes & Hotels in several towns in South India. The non-veg fare cooked with original herbs & spices which Chettinad is known for was served hot and very delecious. The Chef and her team were gracious to arrange a Cooking class for our group and we were all very happy to be part of it. We as family & group hope to surely visit other Resorts owned by the Deshadan Group.  Thanks to our hosts at Chettinad Court we enjoyed our stay.

Ideal palce to stay for your tour of Chettinad

Location was comfortable to reach if followed by google maps. Parking near the property but still it was safely considered the location. Staff were courteous and you could ask for any directions and information for sightseeing they were eager to help.They were more concern about serving us good non-veg Chettinad food, Unfortunately, we were vegetarians they couldn't offer much on that. More vegetarian authentic dishes if served, we could have enjoyed that. Breakfast was really good. Likewise, for lunch and dinner if good authentic vegetarian meal or buffet would have made the experience even better.

Overall nice property to stay and explore and experience Chettinad culture. Recommended for Groups !

Small and peaceful resort in the centre of the Kanadukathan town.. Reasonable price for the area.. Walkable distance to Raja's palace and Chettinadu mansion.. Very tasty food and very good serving ! Will definitely come back to stay !

Great place to relax !!!

We has a great stay here, quiet away from the hustle of the town in the heart of the Chettinad community surrounded by the lavish Chettinad Mansions. The food was great, the staff was very helpful especially Akash and Kavita at the front desk. Akash was always very helpful and we thank him for arranging a trip into the Palatial Chettinad Museum House. Kavita was very kind to share with us the Chettinad history.  The Restaurant service was great and customised to our needs, the housing keeping always attended to our specific needs and overall we had a great memorable stay. To our surprise - Ms. Meenakshi the owner of Chettinad Court and Chettinad Mansion personally made sure that our requests are attend to and was very kind of her to visit us during our stay. This group owns a chain of Deshadan resorts and hotels across Tm and Kerala and I look forward to a stay at their resorts in Kerala this winter.
