Right at the main Siliguri Junction close to main station. Exactly besides Taxi Stand for Darjeeling or Gangtok. However its a bit expensive for the rooms they have. You can get Good Hotels at MG Marg than this one at this price. It has a good Veg Restaurant though. Water is chargeble.

Have got no words in praise of this property. It probably has the best location in entire Siliguri with great connectivity to railway station, airport, malls and parks. The hotel offers the best amenities one can get for a given price. One can get vehicles for Sikkim and Darjeeling from the doorstep of the hotel itself!

Great Property with great location.

Stayed in room no 502 for 8days.
First of all i also work in a hotel as FOE so i know how it is.
Here The staffs are excellent.
They are friendly and give good & fast feedback.
I undrstnd the late response from reception as they are always under presure but as an advice they need to b mre effecient in few matters.
Thnx hotel Gananayak for making us feel at home.
Will b back soon.

Excellent stay

I stayed as part of a group returning from Bhutan tour as our flight was next day morning. It appears to be better than the neighbouring hotels. Room was quite decent though a bit small for 2 persons. Service was slow and unprofessional while the food prices were moderately expensive considering the quantity. It is not a bad option for an overnight stay while travelling to or from Darjeeling / Kalimpong / Mirik / Bhutan. It is very near the Central Bus Stand which is a plus. However, since it is 14-15 km. from Bagdogra airport, I feel it would be more convenient if a person who is catching a flight can find a reasonably decent hotel near the airport,

Okay transit place

Horrible experience, checked in with wife at around 12 in the night, reception staff was extremely rude and rough, we were denied check-in and showed our way as we could not produce marriage certificate! who carries marriage certificate? Finally after 15 minutes of fight, we were allowed after showing married status at Facebook.

Feeling embarrassed, my wife was shocked that for the first time we were tagged like this, I shall never recommend anybody here as they have ruined the mood of holidays!

Also, overall I found this as a overrated hotel, there are many good hotels around the locality which far better placed in terms of quality and price

Extremely poor experience, felt embarrassed, suggest to avoid this hotel

We stayed for a single night and whatever the services received could write as very average. Rooms are very small with dirty bedsheets. After too many calls a second towel received for double occupancy. Nothing almost in breakfast menu. Reception service somehow is ok.
