Spacious room, bathrooms very clean, property is environment friendly. Total no plastic zone. Very courteous staff, homely food, well organised jungle safari, special thanks driver bhira, without him we couldn't see tiger and other animals. I strongly recommend this resort. Existing, outstanding and very satisfactory.

Its a jungle lodge so don't expect 5 star luxury.  Staff are excellent and very helpful, esp Mr Darshan at the reception / Food area. We chose the Maharaja package, no regrets about that.  Amenities are all good, AC in the bedroom but not in the ante-room, large bathroom, bathtub open to the sky.  No Wifi, but very good Airtel signal for voice and data.  Food is great and wholesome but not gourmet style.  Rooms are spacious, well furnished, but need a little maintenance.  Power takes some time to return - a few minutes, and this happens several times daily.  Safari is great, with possibility of sighting many animals although Tiger may be elusive...  You enter the Jungle almost immediately, but travel about 45 mins through the Jungle (public road) before branching off into a mud road into the jungle proper.  So half the time is spent on the main road and not the interior jungle road.  But animal sightings are common even on the public road.

Me and My Cousins spend couple of days every now and then at JLR Kings Sanctuary Nagarahole and I must say we are always delighted to visit this place again & again! :) The staff here - be it Manager, Naturalists, Drivers, Housekeeping or even be it helpers are knowledgeable and lovely.
The rooms / cottages are good and the views and sound from the nature are always splendid! Beyond the relaxing atmosphere of the rooms, the next best part is the fantastic food at Golghar. The menu has a good variety of food choices and the preparation made for superior tasting.
The staff is very attentive, professional and friendly. The Jungle here is always a place to fall in LOVE with, Safari's are very well organized and one can definitely enjoy Photographing floral and fauna of the Jungle.
Highly recommend a visit to this JLR property with friends and family.

A "Jungle Home" to Fall in Love with <3

Excellent holiday to be with the nature. One of the most beautiful jungles to visit in south India. Every season has something new. Nice property with spacious rooms, excellent outdoors, good food and super staff. Have completely enjoyed the stay here. Would recommend for everyone to visit with family or for photography.

Wonderful jungle experience

If you visit Nagarahole, then this is the best place to stay and plan your safari. The resort is huge, the property is spread across with spacious rooms. The food is also very good with decent kitchen staff. Nipun is a very good naturalist and has amazing knowledge about wildlife. Would recommended this resort and safari experience in Nagarahole.

Nagarahole Tiger Reserve

Visited JLR kings sanctuary snd nagarhole national park and tiger reserve on 2nd and 3rd September 2021. Though we were very skeptical about wildlife sightings in monsoon, especially the predators, this trip turned out to be our best experience. We were very lucky to sight the majestic beast of the jungle, the tiger, that too up close. The forest ranger knew exactly how and where to trace tiger movements and presence. They understood animal body language and signals and also had lots to tell us about the flora and fauna in the forest. 
We have been to kabini twice, though never caught sight of any big cats. Though Kabini side of nagarhole forest has tiger population almost 3 times that of the JLR kings sanctuary side, there are fewer forest trails here, hence easier to spot the big cats in comparison to the vast kabini forest. 
JLR kings sanctuary resort too is a cosy place for family and friends with efficient, friendly staff. The food is good. Villas and cottages are extremely spacious and well-maintained. This was our best wild life experience so far and We will definitely return back to this place next time.

Best wildlife experience

This is my 3rd visit to JLR Kings and I wasn’t disappointed. All their staff are fully vaccinated and practice safety procedures. I recommend that Maharaja package be booked as the rooms are better. 

We had chosen 2 safaris, both evening and morning. Our naturalists were very knowledgeable and shared their experiences. Sightings included a tigeress and sub adult cub, sloth bear, leopard, a host of birds. Great trip overall.

3rd visit and still same good service

Location is good. 
Service is very good.
Tasty food & good spread
Rooms are clean & big.
Swimming pool is decent.
Sports area is decent.
Safaris are well organized.
Drivers & naturalists are knowledgable 

Love JLR

Two families went here for a vacation. The facility is big and neatly maintained.  So is the pool. Kids spent considerable time in the pool.  They ran, cycled around the property.  The food was good and served on time.

The sightings weren't great during the safari, but such is the nature of safari. It's  a matter of chance.



Neat resort, good forest experience

After looking thru all resorts at Kabini we decided to stay at JLR and we were not disappointed. The maharaja cottage that we stayed in was large , had a sit out , river facing and very serene . The morning and evening safaris are a part of the package …(quite convenient to step out of room and they were very punctual ). The boat safari was also good. The staff is helpful. It’s not a super luxury stay ( one would assume with the high charges , maybe coz it was 15th aug weekend ) but a neat n clean , Eco friendly place with good amenities n best staff / vehicles for safari. Meals are served as buffet at Golghar ( a central restaurant) and the variety / quality is ok. Their ayurveda massage centre was also ok and I had a good experience. So all in all, If your plan is to just chill at Kabini and enjoy luxury with fancy meals , then opt for other resorts but if you want decent accommodation, excellent safari and experience, then this place is highly recommended
