We stay in exotica sea view in last week. Resort is very nice, well maintained. Rooms are quite spacious with balcony. Light music always make the resort surrounding more refreshing. Food is good. Breakfast was  good though not have wide variety but was tasty and good enough. Property is new and though 2 kms away from beach i can say it is one of the best resort in Diveagar.

We a family of 3 visited this resort just in last week. It was realy a very nice, beautiful, neat and clean, well maintained resort. Rooms are spacious with all basic ammenities. Overall ambience of resort is superb. Staff is helpful and co operative. Property is 2 km away from main beach. Property is new so still consturction and plantation work going on. Breakfast was good. We realy enjoyed our stay in the resort. Overall i can say it is one of the best resort in Diveagar.

Stayed here for a weekend. The cottages are good. We got cottage 109, which they said was newly built and it was apt. There are 4 cottages built on ground and the other 8 are built on machans. The only difference is you cannot get a sea-view from the ones on ground, but it doesn't affect much. We loved our stay, the service was good, the ambiance is very peaceful. You should have your own vehicle as it is a bit far from the beach. They have another resort - Exotica beach resort which has been leased out to MTDC which is on the beach. Both have the same food menu. 

Rooms -
The rooms are good and spacious. The bathroom and the rooms were clean. The room service was fast. A special call out to Mandar, Sudarshan and Rupesh for making out stay wonderful. 

As our car was dirty, we were thinking of getting it cleaned, but the staff cleaned it when we went for breakfast even without asking. 
They arranged a bonfire for us. They have garden speakers which play soothing instrumental music all the time, which is good. And ofcourse, how can I forget the lotus ponds.. They have white, pink and purple lotuses blooming in ponds. 

The breakfast was good and yummy. The breakfast menu included poha, idli-sambar, halwa, orange juice and tea. We requested for an omlette and they gladly provided us with tasty omlettes. The coffee was very tasty and refreshing, just the way I like it.
The manchurian was tasty but the chicken wasn't tender, so that was the only negative we found.

I will definitely recommend this one. Just that, it's not directly on the beach, so good if you are travelling by your own vehicle.

Diveagar has two Exotica's. Please do check before booking :P The MTDC exotica is right by the beach, rooms are simple, food basic - but the beach overshadows all that!
This exotica is around 2 kms from the beach, the cottages are better than MTDC ones but still hovering around basic. It looked like the work on beautification and landscaping is still in progress. 
we faced the usual teething issues of a new resort- The water in our cottage kept running out, since we were the only guests on the property- the food was delivered straight into our room so our choice was limited and we couldn't see much of the common areas.
The staff is helpful and attentive.
It may be better once the rains subside and the landscaping is fully sorted.

The property was beautiful and well maintained. 
The cottages were really nice but they could have been built a bit more luxurious, at least in terms of say mattress, bathroom fittings etc. but they were great with all the basic amenities and comfort. 
The staff was amicable and kind. 
The food was just delicious. The location was so perfect that the beach was just in front.
