As a regular visitor to Goa, I can guarantee that this place simply has the best juices and most wholesome food. And they deserve all the 5 star ratings that they have got. One of those places that deliver everything they promise. Simply brilliant.

As good as it gets

I first booked 3 nights in The Mandala and ended staying for 5! This place is really beautiful, relaxing and peaceful. Anjalika is a very friendly and smily host and I loved her yoga and pranayama classes! 
You can also attend different drop-in classes in Ashyana hotel just next door which is really convenient.
I highly recommend this peaceful indian place.

Peaceful and beautiful place

I really enjoyed my time at the mandala, I have met great people and the owner Anjalika & Andrew were very friendly.
They organized a Christmas buffet dinner for their guests and it was a wonderful night.
The mandala is located 3 min walk from the beach you need to cross another retreat then a bridge ( nice view ) and you reach your destination. If you want to explore more you can walk 25 min to Ashvem beach or 50 min to Arambol beach.
My room was “the art lake view “ in the concrete building, the only one available at that time , Anjalika gave me a discount which was kind from her but still above my budget and for the season the rate was high.
The view was relaxing and the terrace nice.
I would like to mention the issue I had in the bathroom as a constructive feedback.
It was very old, mould and there was water leakage, they had to put a bucket to contain the water and I couldn’t sleep at night hearing the drops. I have mentioned it and they tried to fix it but nothing has changed during my stay.
This bathroom need a refurbishment for sure.  
The bed wasn’t comfortable too but I survived :) 
The second thing was the housekeeping haven’t cleaned my room for 2 days, I had to follow up but mistakes happens.
The juice bar was nice I haven’t tried to food except the breakfast which was complimentary so not much options.
Overall I was happy with my stay but next time I’ll try the hut.
Thanks Mandala for your hospitality and I hope you will refurbish that bathroom :)


Nice stay ! 

I really love this cute little paradise, with the most amazing garden where there are lots of places to relax day & night. In the night there are beautiful lights and it gives a feeling of 1000 an 1 night :-). As for accommodation: you have a broad choice of AC rooms - without any bugs, river houses, more open and in nature, and simple bamboo huts with shared bathrooms. I love that there is a choice, so everybody can stay there according to their budget.

Accommodation in nature & enchanting garden

This beautiful hidden place just simply feels as if you are in wonderland, so many lovely places to relax and connect. The vibe is amazing, the people working at the Mandala are like a family and they also treat you like a family member, it will make you feel at home immediately. Love it!! Would go back asap <3

WONDERLAND

We arrived with intent on staying for a week but ended up doubling our stay at the Mandala. Angelika and Andrew and all their lovely staff are super helpfull and made us feel right at home. We absolutely loved the 'vibe' of the place and it's eclectic mix of visitors. I wouldn't say it's a childrens' paradise but for our independent and adventurous 2year old who loves to interact and play with all the house pets it was a true paradise.[Her being one the few kids in the hood meant she got lots of attention. A sure win.] We made friends, had great breakfast and dinners and enjoyed many yoga classes on sight. It was a dream holiday for us and more than we had hoped for. We stayed at the topfloor apartment and also at one of the 2story huts, both were enjoyable. We will definitely be back.

Hidden Treasure

Mandala isn't just a place... Being there gives You kind of cosmic/magical state of mind and soul, that i have never experienced anywere else on earth. Everything there is just exceptional : accomodation, flora, mood, friendly stuff, delicious food and of course Anjalika and Andrew! Two beautifull people that are always there for U making sure everything is perfect and You are having a wonderfull time. I am sure I will be back there soon and more than once!!!!

Heaven on earth!!!!

I ran a yoga retreat at Mandala after staying previously and falling madly in love with the magical place. Running a retreat there was stress free, Anjalika helped market it. The space is fun and the food is amazing, fresh, local, creative and delicious.

I have stayed in various rooms there over the years and just love them all. The staff are kind and knowledgeable, the yoga shop has the best incense and beautiful locally made clothing and jewelry. The gardens are filled with birds, flowers, whistling palm trees and hammocks. It’s perfectly located minutes from the beach so you get to experience both beach and garden.

I can not recommend Mandala enough.

Yoga retreat

I am a solo traveler - stayed for 3 weeks and then returned after a month to rest again. It became my second home, no joking.
I enjoyed my hut, showering under coconut trees, birds in the garden, beautiful healthy food, good time connecting with interesting travelers, singing by the fire, yummy breakfast, chilling on a hammock... Yoga in the morning is just what I needed to set my day in a beautiful way. I am so going to come back. 
Mandala is a short walk to the village centre where you'll find everything you need - coffee, food, beautiful boutiques, dancing, more yoga, surfing and more. The beaches nearby are just amazing. I spoiled myself with Ayurvedic treatments every day and it was so worth it. I am like newborn! 
The staff are so friendly and welcoming, not just nice, when I was unwell they really took care of me, went to the village to get me the painkiller I wanted. 
The whole space - the huts, garden, staff and other travellers make this place so special. I only have good memories and I truly hope I will be coming back a lot! :)

Magical, inspiring, home away from home

We stayed in a nomadic villa which had a gorgeous setting looking over the river and was really peaceful and relaxing especially when having an evening drink. Breakfast was great and the whole place has a very chilled  and relaxing vibe . Gave the hotel 4 stars as the hot water was a problem for us as it was in very short supply and by the time you regulate it was run out . The bathroom was also very dark and it wasn’t very practical to shave etc..
