The location is superb. I belong to rajasthan itself and the stay at this resort gave me the true rajasthani feeling, open surrounding till our sight goes, is a bliss. What made our trip memorable is a trip to prisitne sand dunes and nearby villages. The owner, Mr. Meer took us to see nearby villages with no electricity, where villagers were looking at us, like we were celebrities. Then we did a camel safari to the deserted sand dunes. we were two couples with one toddler and we played in sand like kids. there was no one around us. So if you too admire the natural beauty with tranquility, then do this camel safari with Mr. Meer.

What an adventure! Mr Meer (the owner) is such a great host. He prepares chai to get your energy for the day with the fresh camel milk that he gets every morning. A time to repeat in the dessert of Jaisalmer.

This was such a truly magical and unique experience. The owner Meeru picked me up for free at the bus station, after having arrived in Jaisalmer. He’s a real desert man with a really good and caring heart and can tell you many stories about the life out there and India.

After I had arrived I just laid in my bed for 2h with a smile on my face, listening to the incredible silence there. It’s the place to be and reflect after an overstimulating trip through India. The peace there is overwhelming. It was the highlight of my trip through India and I would recommend it to anyone to do it towards the end of their trip. Book enough days, because you won’t want to leave anymore.

The Bungalows are very spacious and clean.

It’s a place to be, meditate and relax. It has an amazing area around to explore during the day and of course you can do a desert camel tour.

There’s an option to make a beautiful bonfire every evening at the fireplace. 

He will prepare breakfast and delicious authentic Indian food for you anytime you like.

You don’t need to bring anything with you.

Absolutely stunning experience.Nice comfortable cottages. Authentic Rajasthani food. Never seen more responsible person like Mr. Meer Khan.. thanks to him we got to see several places and things we had never even plan. Great time management. Thanks for the special camel safari offered by Mr. Meer Khan and travelling with him was extraordinary. A place where you can find absolute bliss in solitude..

I arrived to Dreamtime with a tuk tuk and it felt immediately like an adventure. The traditional hospitality of Meeru was excellent to Kickstart the desert experience. Next to the hotel there is a oasis and an abandoned village, perfect places for a hike and good pictures. Food and accommodation were very good too.

Incredible experience

Best part of my 2 month trip through India

Excellent place, extraordinary hospitality by Mr. Meer Khan.

One night, one experience 

We did not stay at dreamtime bungalows but we're told to read these reviews regarding a desert safari with Merhan. At first Mehan was lovely and offered us a once in a life time trip to the desert- no other tourist, stories by the campfire, oasis, sleeping in the dunes. We thought that this sounded better than any other desert safari we'd be offered so we agreed. After a little bit of confusion over the price we paid 5000 rupees each for 2 nights in the desert. 
We woke up in the morning ready to go only to see that it had been raining quite heavily, this wasn't Merhans fault and he gave us some of our money back and another night in his hotel for free. We couldn't complain. 
The next morning the sun was shining and we were ready to go, we then found out that Merhan wasn't going to be coming with us and instead was sending us with a man (Sudan) who didn't speak any English, we were disappointed by this but agreed anyway. We drove for about an hour into the desert (even though Merhan had previously said we couldn't do only one night because the camp was too far away). 
We ended up at Sudans family's farm, which was lovely but not what was promised. It wasn't in the dunes, coverd in liter, it was full of sheep and goats and therefore full of animal poo (including the hut we were told we would sleep in). Sudan was lovely the entire time but it made us feel uneasy when his 4 friends came to join. None of them spoke any English and being 2 females alone in the desert without any service we felt quite unsafe. When the sunset we decided that the risk of staying in an isolated area with a group of men probably wasn't the safest idea so requested to be driven back to the hotel. Sudan did this without hesitation and Merhan gave us another night in the hotel for free. 
We were really disappointed with the experience and felt as if we were ripped off. We wasted alot of money and also didn't get to spend a night in the desert which was on our India bucket list. 
I hope this helps anyone trying to make the decision.

Desert safari

the owner is abusive and a greedy old man terrible service and staff.
better to visit some other hotel rather than this crook he was misbehaving with us
and also making explicit gestures to women.

one of the worst property

Never plan your visit to this place, we had very bad experience. Location is not good, very far & road is also very bad. Limited hot water is available since there is manual water heater pump. Some times in the evening electricity goes off. Owner leaves by 7 pm & leaves on servant who does not know if we ask for something.
