The AC  does not work because there is voltage problem - Not informed while checking in. 
The mattress and pillow cover and bed spread stinks 
The toilet and room is unhygienic 
There was no power and no genarator also 
TV does not work, No fans so if there is no power we have sit outside in the hot sun.

NEVER GO THIS PLACE - Stayed in this place on 16th Mar 2019. Poor and unhygienic and Very expensive stay

A luscious green entrance leads to the cottage. It has a spacious hall with 2 double beds and a small kitchen and a room above, that can be reached with a ladder which is quite cool. All good up till now. Above room doesn't have AC and the below room's AC is not very effective.( never felt the chill even though the AC was on throughout the night). Around the evening you won't find yourself alone in the room, there will be cockroaches(plenty of them) and some really scary spiders.(You are in trouble if you have Entomophobia). Apart from that, the complimentary breakfast is fine and the care takers were helpful although language could be a problem as they only understand Tamil.

We were looking for a pet friendly place in Pondicherry ans this was one of the three options available for our preferred dates. The room is terrible - cane bed with just a cotton filled mattress. The bedsheets ans pillow cases looked very unhygienic. The blanket was a cheap one without a cover. The bathroom lead to a loft upstairs using a ladder. The loft was non AC and was filled with flying insects and mosquitos. The bathroom was also very ordinary - we decided to skip shower the next day and came home to Chennai. The power supply was very erratic and they only had a battery backup which supported a fan ans light in the room. With 38 degrees outside it was impossible to stay in the room. The place is a little shanty suitable for those on very low budget. I have posted pics of the alleged pool which was nothing but a water feature. The guy didn’t have a credit card machine and we had to pay cash even though we booked through Booking.com.
