I was lucky enough that a riksja driver dropped me off at the Lovely Hebron inn homestay in Central fort Kochi.
 The rooms are quite spacious, clean and complete. The affordable homestay is based on an excellent location with a fine balcony overlooking a green with some impressively huge trees. The neighborhood is quiet yet central. But the best of it all is the family who runs the place, very friendly and caring and they make sure everything is right.Only good people should go here. 

Lovely stay in Central Fort Kochi 

the room is very nice, clean, everything was good from the room to the family who hosted us!! We were very well welcomed !! This will give us some outstanding memories ! Thank you so much , we wish you good luck!

Really nice house

We talked with the owner and he was nice over the phone but when we arrived everything changed. We were a couple and we got 2 single beds in the smallest room which we couldn't even open a suitcase. Price was very expensive for this kind of room. Not to mention that when we tried to talk about a refund he said that he will not give us nothing back because this is how it works in India and we have nothing to do about it. Will not recommend staying there

Not friendly at all 

This is a lovely place to relax and enjoy Kochi. Great viewing the locals playing football every evening from the balcony. Incredibly clean. Fantastic value. Most of all however, they are a lovely and warming family who imbue calm whilst also providing a reliable service. 

Immaculately clean, reliable and relaxed

Good location 10-15 mins walk from ferryboat and bus stop (airport/munnar), close to the basilica and just 20m from the cultural centre (and great Tibetan restaurant) Relatively quiet because it is opposite a playing field. 
Rooms are basic and clean. Hot water available.
Alex and Gita are very helpful and full of info and you can have the most delicious puttu breakfast on the balcony overlooking the playing field. They can arrange good seats for the performances ( the classical dance on Saturdays is a must see)

This homestay felt like a refuge in the heart of the city. It was a nice relaxing place to hang out. The upstairs balcony looking over the soccer/cricket field was lovely. The rooms were pretty hot at night with just the fans going, but that has more to do with the weather than anything. 
The family was nice and helpful. We had a bit of an issue with our Agoda booking (which still hasn't been resolved - but that's Agoda's fault and not Hebron's at all - Alex seemed just as concerned with the problem too). Otherwise they helped us with bus information (and even dropping us off at the bus strop!) and set us up to go to the nearby Kathakali show.

Friendly, comfortable place

The family is very nice and welcoming. They introduced us to the Kathakali theatre around the corner which we went to for dance and music performances. The room was simple and clean and a great value for money. The location in Fort Kochi is perfect for walking around. I have been traveling india for a month and this has been my favourite place I stayed at. Thank you!
