Angana is a hidden gem for Bangaloreans. Good for a quick getaway, it is a small property with about 6 rooms + 2 cottages. It set amidst lush greenery and trees, which gave us a good respite after the several pandemic lockdowns. We stayed in the cottage which gave sufficient privacy and safety. 

As indicated in earlier reviews, it is a heritage property (more than 100 years old) but very well maintained and gives a good feel to stay there and walk around in the property. 

The restaurant is non AC with sufficient ventilation and fans, hence it is very comfortable and also safe as tables are at a good distance from each other. Food was superb - simple but flavourful, with lots of choices. Shambhu, the restaurant attendant was helpful through our stay of 3 nights. 

No wi-fi, no TV was a blessing. We had our own hotspot so that helped in staying connected.  Overall look forward to visit again for a quick getaway.

Cozy, boutique, simple getaway

Had been here for a wedding recently. The place has a lovely landscape which lends itself to making the ambience a mix of both ethnic and chic. There is adequate space to more around amongst the greenery with a separate open air dining area. The food tastes very good and one is treated to several mouth watering delicacies.The portion housing the guest rooms exudes a very traditional warmth and gives one a distinct feel of what earlier generation architecture in India was all about. Overall a great place for a get together, a re-union or family function.  

A cozy and pleasant place

Its a smaller place as compared to few other resorts. But it is green, well maintained with a traditional feel. Play area for kids, courtyard with carom, cards, ludo, swimming pool with stairs, many spots for photo-op :) you can laze around in the shade with chairs and hammock. Lunch buffet was decent. Our package also incl high tea though we didnt stay that long. Only problem they weren't serving anything on order.. we really pestered them for tea so they did. This was for 1062 per person incl taxes.

Relaxed Day Outing

We just conducted our baby’s Naming ceremony at Angana, The Courtyard. We selected the place in our first visit and the courtesy extended to us every time we called the supervisor or support staff was excellent and we are touched by the kind behaviour by everyone.

The food is homely, delicious and also healthy. I would strongly recommend everyone who is looking for a small family gandering to consider this place next time. One of the best places i have stayed.. 

Perfect Place for all occasions!!!

Great place and authentic food.. kids love the place. We stayed over the weekend and found it as a perfect place for weekend stay. The pool is nice, the caretakers are very responsive. The good part about food is it very homely.

Awesome place 

It's a nice place especially with kids to detox away from tech and spend some quality family time. Food is good and staff is very courteous. Also a nice option for family outings as it has open spaces. I particularly loved the swimming pool.

Good weekend chillout place

We were a group of 20+ people stayed here for a day to celebrate a relatives birthday. We had taken all the available rooms and had the place for ourselves during the night. There were other guests who had come to spent the day till evening. 

Place is tastefully build and has got a bucolic look, there are many items added to give an old-fashioned feel including the old Bakelite switches and fan regulators. Open central courtyard in the main building is ideal for a group gathering (they do have a larger amphitheater setting outside) and we spent out evening under the open sky here enjoying group games. Campus though not huge has good collecting of trees and plants. Restaurant is  kept separate from the main building and there are 2 cottages maintained detached from the main building. Food was tasty and spread was adequate. Support staff was quick and efficient. Footwear is not allowed inside the main building, this is not a botheration since the place is maintained clean (can be an issue in winter when the floor is cold)

We noticed the floor becomes very slippers when wet, especially the stairs and bathrooms, you have to be extremely careful about this.
