The only thing negative is the listing showed “Laundry”. That usually means a laundry room that one can do there own laundry. This was you call and the family comes to get it for a fee. It’s lovely in the open country and easy to get to.

It is a difficult review. The place was cheap for sure, but it did come at a price. It was in the middle of nowhere, which meant great views but you have to drive half an hour to Akyreyri.

Self check-in, we did not see any staff the whole time. Showers were kind of awful, there was coffee but despite the signs no kitchen so you could make your own breakfast. Pool table was worn to pieces.

I don't know, the place just felt cold and empty, even though all the decorations and furniture fit nicely together and it was artsy.

I'd go somewhere else, but as I said, it was cheap.

DO NOT go to the van though, the advertise it as some exotic experience, it is just bad.

Would not stay again, but might fit some people very well

Our stay here was lovely. The self-check-in was easy and the location is great. Clean and comfortable, but also extremely homey and welcoming place. It made even just crashing here for the night relaxing and pleasant. Highly recommend!

Lovely stay

A very nice place to stay a couple of days. The rooms are cozy and the beds are very comfortable.
It is very close to the sea and to the main attractions.
The host is very welcoming and helpful.
I revommand it to everybody who likes nature. 

Beautiful place in the nature

We had a lovely stay. Good service, friendly atmosphere. The hot pot was not yet up and running, otherwise all excellent. (There are other hot springs nearby though, in Hjalteyri etc.) Great big hall for breakfast or meals. 

Friendly atmosphere

We really enjoyed our stay at Arnarnes Paradise,
well equipped with everything u need, 
even a clotheshorse.
Luckily saw northern lights around the house and through windows
(the only one night we saw lights during the whole trip).

Hopefully will return someday.

Great place to stay and meet northern light

It was a comfortable and fun place with pool table and hot tub. The host is friendly and helpful. Rooms and common areas are clean and tastefully decorated. The location is close to Akureyri and near the sea. We enjoyed our stay here and recommend to book!

Nice place to stay

Great views, unique common area with a piano, organ, billard table and more.

If a breakfast would have been offered the stay would have been 100% perfect.Other than that - wonderful.

Perect little getaway paradise

Our accommodation in the self-contained camping bus was unique. The heating did not make it cold and the view of the fjord at night and evening/morning was beautiful. In the community room there was a free-to-use coffee machine, hot water for tea and water. The kitchen is enough to cook. Thanks to an additional refrigerator in the community room, all guests have sufficient storage space. The large and comfortable community room offers plenty of room for food and games, a good ambience and a free-to-use billiard table. The amenities are sufficiently clean and very clean. The check-in was well organized and could be done independently. We are happy to come back here for our next tour of Iceland!
