The holiday started off with a rainstorm and we were kind of disappointed that we had to stay inside the whole day. However the hosts and the apartment made the first two days much better. 
The hosts were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. A really kind family.
The apartment had a king sized bed (which was very soft unlike other Greek apartment stays we had) and our room came with a big dresser. The other room had a small couch/bed as well as a kitchenette (which was too small for our preference, but we still managed). 
The bathroom was also bigger than other stays in Greek apartments and always had hot water. It also didn't smell like sewage which was a blessing.
The location was really good. It was close to the city centre, the beach, and other towns nearby. 
The beach was what surprised us the most. Heavenly!!!! We had four sun beds and a huge umbrella which came with the room and it had a top notch view from the first row. The beach was almost empty everyday (especially in the morning) which was also nice. The water was kinda cold and the sea bottom had a really steep ending and became deep really fast. 
All in all it was a really good holiday and we recommend it to everyone who wants to relax and have a wonderful time. 

Enjoyable holiday

We are just returning from our 6 days holidays in Nea Vrasna..

The apartments are located just across the street from the beach. The beach is typical for the area - cobbles and sand. We had everything we needed in the apartment - the kitchen was well equipped, bathroom good, had a baby cot for our son. We were provided fresh bed linen and towels on the third day without asking for that.

The owners are very friendly people and we would certainly come back :)

Warm welcome and Good value for money :)

We had a great week with my friends in Nea Vrasna. Our apartment was clean, had a big balcony with a beautyful view to the sea. The kitchen could use some upgrade and more tools (there weren't can opener, corkscrew) but someone  always around so you can ask for something and they can get you anything. They were friendly and helpful! The sea is just in front of the house, and you get dedicated sunbathing stuff at the beach included the price. The noisy bars and taverns are a bit far (300-500 meters)  so if you seek a quiet environment, this is your place to stay.

Nice place to stay at the sea

The apartments are actually on the beach (there is only a small street that is separating the property).Though the house does not have its own garden there is a shed on the beach, which our company (6 adults and 6 noisy kids) used to make a barbeque. For our comfort the owner of Kehagias Apartments installed lights on the shed and gave us tables & chairs. 

The beach is with cobble stones and sand, however it gets very deep almost immidiately after you go in the sea, making the beach not very suitable for small childeren.

Room

I knew from the moment we discussed that  I will not  have a sea view room, so we received  room number one  (lucky us! You will see below why) in the 'backyard' on the ground floor. The view was the street behind the house, located about 3-4 m maximum from the  terrace. Luckily it was not such much  movement in the area. However, the advantage to park the car at the 'muzzle horse ' and when it comes to carry luggage, anyway I have unpacked everything, bare necessities for a day / night.

The windows are protected by shutters, good thing  on the one hand, otherwise during day time I think one  could not  stay in the room because of the heat, so that initial feeling was like in a cave. On the half-darkness we manage to grop the mechanism that  lift up  the shutters, occasion  we saw the windows are fitted with mosquito nets  / flies / other flying things  and we  started exploring the 'cave'. You could see from the start thathe is not too had had   other tenants for a long time , it was clean, but dust here and there, one spider web, just like an uninhabited room  for some time.

On the light we discovered 'antechamber'. Just to the right, a  bed that  instead of a box for pillows, linens, allowed the extraction of a second bed, but proximity of floor has made  us to not use it. The front kitchen ... '' super equipped', we found some dishes I would say rather unusable, some cutlery, but the piece de resistance as you'll see in the picture was an electric oven, dirty, whose door was prop with a  wooden wedge. Embarrassing!It`s better not put him at all. Also in the lobby was mounted air conditioning system , TV (LCD)  -my boy also found channel PROTV ), a plastic  table ,   used usually on  terraces or out in the  garden,  lighting is assured - as shown in the photo - with a single bulb hanging somehow in the ceiling

The bathroom is on the small hallway that connects the hall and bedroom. Small, dark ceramic tiles is not too inspired choice - on principle to keep / hide dirt. Immediately to the right is a small body suspended that provides night time lighting (Without exaggerating I think it was fitted with bulbs fridge). Like the accommodation two years ago (see impressions) no shower tray or even that minimum threshold (built, cemented), so use the john first, then shower. It looked  clean, but on  '' darkness '' I think we could  not see much. Missing supplies and hairdryer. I made a little disinfectant,  that we do regardless of the number of stars the location where we  sleep when I have had a bad and painful  experience at another accommodation  . Lack of shower tray also generates a small inconvenience. When neighbors on the landing upstairs  use the shower, the noise of the water falling on the tiles is transmitted throughout ' building ' , Splat Splat ...
Sizable bedroom although at first glance, was overcrowded by the presence of a third bed (all were single!) So that the two men were traveling together a little hard, if anyone enters into the frame, it was necessary a  traffic light like Giurgiu - Ruse. I was surprised by the presence of the radiator now reviewing the  pictures I found that it was disconnected, and he occupied the place for nothing. Anyway,  not to  extend unnecessary -  I write for  some days - enough for one night,  the  mattresses they had,  putty beige to brown (from the factory) were comfortable or have I been too tired. How was  changed the underwear (the colored like home!) Or towels, how  cleaning is done , for how long and how, I do not know, because I did not stayed enough nor I wish to know.

Terrace

3 sq m, street view useable after 20 o'clock in the morning and evening when the sun goes down, the rest could sit not too or because of the sun, or because cars (hârburilor) passing through the area. Sometime I think there was a kind of sun visor meanwhile curtains and rods but disappeared supportive. I appreciated, however, that they thought and they mounted  a power outlet on the outside wall, very useful for feeding (for example) of a laptop and more. In the evening we stayed in for a chat and after  serving morning  breakfast (the package) we gathered our  belongings and went home.

The beach / sea

To get on  the beach shall be crossed the street, and then a small plot  of herbs and mud (more mud than grass. So from this point of view the location of the villa may constitute an ATU (if  resolve other matters). Sand (more gritty) on streatching them, the entry into the water is not very smooth water depth increases fairly quickly close to shore. Aegean Sea in general is very clear but he remembered  here  more and more  to the Black Sea.

The advantage of staying in 'magnificent' room 1 is that one gets the beach  free chaise longue (pair) ... number 1 ( there are 6-7 pairs  maximum) so  in the first place. This first  row at  about 15 m of water. Here, I have seen first time in Greece sunbeds chained to stem umbrella. The key lock is received with the one from the  camera. When I heard it  the first time on the occasion of a review writing this summer by another user  (other tourist area), I could not believe  but now  I was  convinced of  that .  In the end there`s nothing wrong with this, the owner get rid of care  care / decorating, and the tourist does not have to do 'towel' sport  to fill a mourning sun lounger.

Two years ago, and  this year too ,  we did not get rid of itinerant traders. That I never really   liked it with all  that were not annoying / irritating.

From place to place, at the point of exit from the beach were showers or faucets in order to get rid of sand  on the body, most villas in the area  are self-catering in the area (I think  self-cleaning too).

Altogether acceptable for 1,2 days. If I had to stay for a longer period I would probably have thought other nearby areas for sunbathing and splashing.

Resort

Too small, too unimportant for which I am going to say a few words about it in this accommodation framework of this review (although  it is not too recommended) because, in my opinion, it  not worth a dedicated review. 
Compared to the resorts from  us I can say that perfectly resembles the Eforie South,  Eforie is not full of Bulgarian and in Nea Vrasna does not exist that difference in level between  cliff and  beach / water. As for the rest, pretty much the same.

Animated area  resort  is concentrated on cliff. Here we find restaurants, terraces, shops and once with the dark small traders (domestic) who stretch out their stands  directly on the pavement stalls offering by selling exactly the  same toys light, fluffy ... etc like us. Fix in the center we can find those who rent bicycles (the  famous double bicycles  once present on the Romanian seaside) or electric cars. The only thing you want is to get out as quickly as possible from that overcrowded  area , without waking up grabbed by any idly. Therefore,  nothing interesting.

At the entrance to  resort there  are two supermarkets pretty well supplied and prices acceprable. From time to time in  the street may pass  cars converted to  '' grocery’’ so who wants a cheap holiday  'in the kitchen' will not  have any problems in order to obtain supplies.

Tourists? Many of average condition, most Bulgarians, Serbs but I have seen a few Hungarians (already had menus in Hungarian language). Our people counted on  fingers.

That`s  about all ...already  I don`t have patience.  If there are things that someone wants to know, do  not  hesitate to ask.

As a final conclusion:

- I do not recommend area / resort for a subsistence expences completely  leisure travel there,

-do not  recommend  Kehagias Apartments accommodation even for one night, it is possible to  find accommodation on- the- spot (even if everything seems full booking) more ok.
