Great experience at Sofis this is a very clean hotel . Very well located . Elisabeth and her mom are excellent hosts. Made us feel very welcomed. They have a espectacular terrace that faces a beautiful church with stunning views for an unforgettable sunset .
They also recommended a car rental with their causin that provided exceptional service. I highly recommend Sofis room. 
 

We had a wonderful stay at Sofis room . From the start Elisabeth was helpful and her mom was very welcoming  The view from  the 

Sofi rooms has excellent roof terasse, with probably best view in Fira. You can enjoy great view whole day from the morning until sunset. Watching sunset from roof terasse is great experience, you can relax and enjoy every moment. Sofi rooms owner Elisabeth is very helpfull for any information or advice which is needed during stay on Santorini.

Turn the magic on and dream away in the best hotel in Fira. Superfriendly hostess, enchanting surroundings with a breathtaking view over the caldera, so beautiful it will make you heart burst. A lovely, handmade breakfast brought to your doorstep every morning, a true gem away from the huzzle and buzzle  but still central. The room was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. The rooftop terrasse was a real chill out place with sunbeds of course the most spectacular view. A sight for the gods. I didn’t want to leave…

A magical stay

Such a great location on the edge of Fira town. Close to the centre and main bus station but not too noisy. The view from my room facing the church and caldera was beautiful. The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning. It’s the best place to watch the famous Santorini sunset. The thing that surprised me was that it was also a great spot to admire more the town lit up at night. Take some drinks and nibbles up and just take it all in. 
Sofi was such a warm and welcoming host. Thank you for having me.

Pure bliss

I had a really bad experience with my girlfriend staying at this place. The host (Elizabeth), was very rude, aggressive in the way she talked and made me feel very bad.
We stayed here for 1 week and the only thing we really liked was the fact that it was a nice view, but by talking with the host, I notice that she was getting more and more aggressive, I was asking for mattress for the beds outside, but she was “ i can not understand why you do it so much subject you are here a week and this is the last night”, and things like these were repeating, almost daily.
Besides this, room is small and it didn’t feel really good. It was way too overpriced. 
Still, there was a very good recommendation from her: to eat at restaurant Kaliya, which was an amazing experience.

A great memory in Santorini, but a very bad experience at this hotel

My hotel selection changed several time during the planning stage of this trip. Sofi Rooms was the perfect choice for accommodations.  Elisabeth was very kind and helpful. She went out of her way to coordinate ferry pick-up and airport departure. Her Grand Mother owned this home and it was re-designed into a charming collection of rooms with a beautiful common area terrace with a million dollar view. My beautiful wife and I enjoyed several incredible sunsets from this location with inexpensive "take-a-way" drinks and meals. It was a great value, had a fantastic view, and was located in a perfect spot. As a world traveler, looking for the good in each experience is vital to having a beautiful adventure. I will recommend Sofi Rooms to my friends and family without hesitation. It was a beautiful experience and I would not change a thing.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!  With an Amazing View!

While we understand and appreciate the pains that people take to make your stay comfortable, there are experiences which leave bad memories. This was among the worst ones. My wife and I were in Santorini for a couple of days. The price at 150 Euros per night was definitely not cheap. The room we got was highly sub standard for the price we paid. The only good point was that it was clean. However, we were given a twin bed instead of a double bed. The two beds were of different heights. So even if you joined them, it was uneven. The bathroom was too small with only a hand shower which was extremely inconvenient.  
We could have still managed with all these issues. The worst experience we had was interacting with the manager Elisabeth. First, even before we reached there, she wrote twice requesting us to cancel the booking which didn't make any sense. One day before reaching there, she informed us that she wasn't able to charged our credit card and so we had to pay cash. We had requested an early check-in. But when we reached there, the room wasn't ready. When we talked to Elisabeth about this, she started yelling.  We came back after around an hour. When we entered the room, it came as a shocker looking at the beds and the bathroom. Again we called Elisabeth to request for changing our room to one with a double bed. The response we got was a thing of nightmares. She blamed us for not checking properly and then said "If you don't like the room, you can go stay somewhere else. I will charge you for one night anyways." Nothing was available in such a short notice. So we had to suffer at this place for one night. We managed to get a booking at Volcano view for the next day and that turned out to be a great experience at just another 50 Euros a night. While checking out, she threatened my wife saying "If you write a review, I will post your emails to the public shaming you."
It got worse after my wife wrote a review for the place. The manager started writing derogatory and rude emails to her. She literally cursed us to have a "black holiday". We had to complain to booking.com to make her stop emailing. 
The only good thing about this place is the view from the terrace. But that's available with most caldera facing hotels in Santorini. So my advice to all fellow travellers is that if you are paying so much, you better book a proper hotel. This place is a disgrace to the entire hospitality sector.

Terrible people! Stay away

I checked out immediately the next day due to terrible experience.pls don't waste your time here when in Santorini
I rate a hotel based on 5 factors. here is the review of sofi rooms
Location: 4/5. nice location, all the points go to the roof which has a very nice view
cleanliness: 4/5. room was neat and clean
comfort: 1/5 . we got a twin bed room and we were told that this is what we get. we should have explicitly checked the room pics before booking. both bed were of diff size and had a light switch between them, as it was not easy to combine them together and sleep.
bathroom is very small. only a hand shower in the bathroom which you have to hold with your hand. 
hospitality:0/5 . initially there was a confusion about the check in time. which we later understood and went for a long breakfast. when we came back at the agreed time, we got the room. meanwhile i was reminded many times by the manager Elizabeth that how its my fault that i dint check properly. once we checked in, when we said we dont want the twin bed room, the assistant Linda simply shrugged her shoulders and said this is what we get.she called Elizabeth who said either take it or go. again she yelled at me that its my fault i dint check the pics online. 
we stayed as it was impossible to book another hotel and we were tired. the final nail in the coffins was when Linda came to take our passport. we asked if she wants a copy, she said yes. 15 mins passed and when we dint hear back from her, we checked to find out she has left with the passport leaving reception locked we couldn't rent a car that day because we dint have our passport. Elizabeth said she can come later but we already had a cruise booking and we couldn't wait longer.no explanation was given about why the passport was taken away.
also their reception is a basement room which is also their laundry so you can't wait there 

value for money: 2/5 . only good thing about this property was their roof. rest all is just a scam. other apartments next door provide porters and at least there will be someone around in case you need anything. on this property all you get is a room which is very small for the price you pay. i was so fed up i checked out the next day (again Elizabeth said she'll be there at 8 am for check out and to return passport) she only came by 8.40 , we waited to get yelled at that she was not well and how everything is our fault. 
in summary; if you want to realise how online booking is still a scam and to get yelled at during your vacation because everything is your fault, go ahead and book this. she doesn't understand much English and will repeat the same thing rather than doing anything about it.there wont be anybody at reception unless you email them to ask. also she doesn't pick up the phone which is written at the reception. 
else there are so many better properties. after a horrible experience i checked in to volcano view and had the best of my time there.
@ Elizabeth: you threatened me that you'll post my mails if i write a bad review. pls go ahead and do that. i never said anything wrong.in the first email i told you about check in time and also asked about if i can get a room with view.you replied saying its not possible, all rooms are booked. and offered cancellation.i dint cancel as i was ok with the room without view. still i understand that there was some confusion about the check in time and we  were ok with that. but your crappy attitude is what ruined everything. i have travelled to 20+ countries and stayed in countless BnBs and hotels. but never met a more rude host. and even on the last day you were late, angry and still talking about check in time confusion, even when check in time issue was ok. bigger problem was the twin beds and how your assistant took away our passport for entire day. even if you needed it for entire stay, you could have told us rather than disappearing with passport.you could have talked politely even though you couldn't help but may be thats too much to ask for.

small property and very rude host.dont book

We stayed in sofi room for 2 nights in room 2 with a small balcony overlooking caldeira. 
The room is very clean. 
The biggest advantage it is its situztion close to restaurants and bars but in quieter area. There is beutiful tarrace with magnificent view to caldeira and several sunbeds
Overall the hôtel is a very good quality peice ratio for santorini because of situation and view. 
Sofi is very nice.

Currently here ......You were picked up from the airport by the driver at 3am for 25euro. We would never have found the hotel otherwise.
Sofis husband greeted us and took us to our room. We I don’t have a room with a view but would have loved to do that. We are on the walking path so our balcony aka patio, looks onto a wall. We spend a little time in the room so this is not an issue however it would have been nice to wake up and look right out to the sea. If you have the option do the room with a view! Everyone has access to the terrace which is quite beautiful for the sunsets. Elizabeth, Sofi’s daughter, greeted us the next morning to help us out with everything we needed to know to get us started. 
Coffee tea, loaf of bread, some jam, and butter were provided in the room which was a nice touch for the morning. The photos on the website do not give the room justice. They are larger than they look.
There is no safe in the room so I suggest you leave your valuables at home.
Getting to and from this hotel is not suitable for someone with bad knees or unable to walk on their own as it is up and down very steep stairs.
Yesterday we did 28 flights according to my iPhone steps 
I highly recommend this hotel!!
