Actually the worst thing about Nefi Guesthouse is that they don't have really quality photos, so it doesn't look as good as it really is. :) 

The apartment building is located next to the main road, meaning it can be a bit noisy, especially with all the locals driving around at very high speed, but it makes up with a great view of the sea and eventually you get used of the cars and scooter driving by. Equipment is basic but it has all you need (A/C, decent sized fridge, enough room to move around). Owners are very friendly and cleaning apartment on daily basis. It is a short walk to the town, about 15 minutes, however one part of the road doesn't have a sidewalk, so it's not so pleasant to walk there... You do however have access to entire Megali Amnos just across the street and you can walk to the town on the beach if you don't mind some sand. :)

Very nice apartment

Nefi is situated on the main road across from Fteli beach. Takes literally 2 minutes to get to the beach. The rooms are a good size and very clean. Sheets and towels are changed regularly and room is cleaned every day except Sunday. The bathroom has a good powerful shower with plenty of hot water and air conditioning and safe are free of charge. There is a large balcony with a wonderful sea view where we enjoyed our morning coffee every day. It takes around 20 minutes to walk into town from here but there are a few supermarkets nearby and some lovely tavernas serving delicious food. The owners at Nefi were very friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to return here!

Lovely guesthouse

This was our third year on Skiathos, and it can be a busy island. Staying in town can feel like you are in Athens, island-style. The Nefi Guesthouse is close enough to walk to town, yet far from the madding crowd. It is quiet with easy parking, and most incredible views. 

The property is directly on the beach, across a street that you have to cross with care. The beach across the street (Fteli) is quiet and there are a few chairs and umbrellas. Along the beach, there is a lovely short walk to taverns and Megali Ammos watersports (a must do activity!). 

The rooms are straightforward and clean. This is not a luxe hotel, but it is very comfortable and is more spacious than the average European room. Every room has a balcony with an incredible view: the sea is calm, and there are ships and ferries to watch come and go. 

The wifi is fairly reliable (slow during busy times), and the a/c makes the rooms great for sleeping. There is a kitchenette, but souvlaki can be delivered, and there are delicious breakfast places (Exantos) within walking distance. 

There is a beautiful garden, and the owner of the property is very friendly.  

This place is fantastic: clean, beautiful views, and incredible value, all within an easy distance to town.

Note: the rooms are doubles, so families of 4 will need two rooms; it is still affordable even in two rooms.

Great location, super clean, amazing views

Good location but very noisy 
The room was not very clean and when we showed to the owner the dust on the bed she was very Rude to us
As a a Greek Australian really felt very bad and sad not proud at all for my greek part
There are many more next food nicer especially on the beachside road
The main road is dangerous
