This place is fantastic. Second year running for us and run by Christos, Aggelos, Alexandra. old style Captains place with numerous rooms , all quirky and a small chapel in the garden with a blue dome. The land was sold to the big shipping owner of the time who built the chapel. That captains house is the hotel next door. The service and attention to detail by the owners is exceptional and go the extra mile to ensure customers have what they need. Reasonable priced and whilst there is no pool, there is the Liyerma Pool Club 5 minutes away overlooking the sea. Balcony with unimpaired view of the sunset. a few tables and chairs there to eat and drink. Only a couple of people are ever up there. 5 star and away from the bustling crowds. 

Exceptional Accomodation and Hosts

Very disappointed. A week before our arrival I checked our reservation on-line only to find that it had been cancelled. No email...nothing. Imagine if I hadn't checked and we arrived at night only to find we had no room! I sent them a message....no reply.

Cancelled without notification

We stayed at Christos apartments for one week and it has been the most beautiful stay! Aggelos and Christos are super kind and nice. At our arrival Aggelos accompained us for a quick tour of the village providing us with plenty of useful tips and suggestions about where to eat and how to move around avoiding the crowd of the rush hours. It assisted us in renting an atv and organizing our transport from/to the airport. The apartment itself is very nice and cozy, clean and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. They even cleaned it two times during our stay giving us new towels (this is not a given when you rent an appartment). Quality to price ratio is great too, expecially considering the average prices in Oia. all in all I could not be happier with our stay and I surelly would reccomend it to everybody!

The most beautiful stay!

Santorini is expensive but we wanted to stay in Oia to experience that magic. So we choose Christos apartments. We were not disappointed !! Before our arrival we got a detailed restaurants/bars and attractions in Oia. And the location was easy to find. We were greeted by Anggelos ( Christos son) who is so friendly and took us for a quick tour of the neighborhood and pointed us some of their favourite spots. We ended up not cooking but went out to eat at those places!!👍 and all his recommendations were perfect 
We stayed at one bed room which has a beautiful arche ceiling built in 1843. We had a great sleep. Kitchenette and shower room were small but we were ok with it. The garden has many seating areas and inviting. The best is the roof top shared  terrace. You can see sunset from there. We were lucky that we were the only one there during our stay so felt like our own terrace. 
The hotel is so close to the Main Street but in the alley( no need to walk up and down) so it has privacy and quiet. We were able  to walk around early in the morning sunrise and took pictures before crowds then had best coffee in vitrin cafe. 
Even though there is no fancy pool / or private balcony but the hospitality from Anggelos is special as they are 5th generation local residents and 2 generations family biz. You can tell the passion of operating their family property with pride.

Excellent stay with amazing host

Christos Appartments is a true gem in overpriced and over-touristed Oia. It is a family- run little nice place in a very convenient location - just some 1-2 mins from the famous sunset spots. Nice rooftop for perfect sunset without getting jammed with some 1000 other people. The owners are really nice and helpful - they are always ready to help you with insider tips or making a reservation for dinner. It actually feels more like at home than in a hotel. 
I stayed in a very spacious apartment which used to be a 150 years old captains house. Just super nice and quite during the entire day and night providing great sleeping quality. 
No breakfast served but the nearby cafe Vitrins serves crepes, fruits and Greek yoghurt . Outstanding value for money compared to the redicuously  overpriced usual luxury honeymoon caldera villas in Oia. I‘ll certainly come again!

Great place for an authentic and quiet stay in an old captain‘s house

Christos is a very welcoming and approachable host with very good English. He had some good referrals for food which saved us money. The room was how it would have been 50-60 years ago but clean and acceptable. Watch our if it rains as there are leaks so don’t leave any valuables near the windows. The terrace is a must do to watch the sunset with a bottle of wine.

We stayed at Christos apartment for two nights and we were glad that we booked here. We enjoyed the sunset drinks from the terrace for both nights we were there. It’s the best spot to watch sunset. I’d recommend to whoever stay here to buy some drinks and snacks from neighborhood mini mart and enjoy the sunset there. Everywhere else would be packed with people. There were many restaurants and shops near by, so it was great. Oia can get busy during the day but it’s very quiet if you’re out in the early morning. Best time to take pictures of beautiful Santorini. 

The best sunset 

I stayed here at the end of June 2019. The room was spacious and contemporary. Facilities to cook too. Nice complimentary toiletries. Beautiful kept gardens and fantastic views. I would highly recommend staying here. Christos’s son came to collect me from my drop off point as there are too many places to stay for you to find your way.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. You went above and beyond to and make us feel at home. If we return to Santorini in the future we would 100% stay at Christos apartments again. Clean, great location, friendly owners and relaxed vibes.

Fantastic Stay

Besides the fact that reservations and communication any time I had a question were a breeze, the location is perfect! I chose a studio room that had a balcony with a sunset view, and it was priceless. They set up an airport pick up for me and met me at the taxi to walk me to the hotel, then took the time to show me how to get to places and to suggest restaurants and things to do. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here!
