great place, very clean, excellent quality and service, friendly and warm people. I would definitely visit again. Great for familys and kids, in the center of Zakynthos near to everything. You can also by great organic products in the farm of the family

Must visit

I have travelled the world but no where can compare to here. It is unique and one of the best places in Greece and the world to get away from it all and totally relax and recharge. Dimitris and his family are wonderful hosts, genuine kind and helpful.  Nothing is too much trouble and they always make time to talk you and make sure you have everything you need and help make the most of your stay on the beautiful island of Zakynthos. The traditional village of Kallithea is a short walk away and the villas are well located to tour the island and get to the beach close by.

The best place to relax and recharge 

We were warmly greeted upon our arrival. It was lovely to receive welcome gifts of wine raisins soap and olive oil, products produced on the farm. The wine was delicious and we had several more bottles during our stay!! Villa Fos was beautiful as were the surroundings which we found to be relaxing and tranquil. We very much recommend staying here. The Therianos family are geuniely lovely and friendly and happy to assist in making your stay perfect!! We hope to return in Spring next year. 

A fantastic place!

Oh yes!Definetly!Lovely grounds,country style environment,with surroundings you'll love.Depending on the season you can enjoy gathering grapes or feeding the animals and chickens,tasting the local Therianos wine and olive oil which by the way has won award after award  for it's exquisit taste and quality!This is definetly an ideal place for children too.They'll love it!Plenty to do,and facilities are all close by.Grab a car or motorbike-even a bicycle and you'll get to explore plenty of villages and enjoy swimming in crystal clear waters at Alykes!I could go on forever!And that's because it's in the centre of the island and close to all places!

Ecological Enironment with that magic touch that only village life can give you!

The Therianos family have four 'villas' (cabins really) on their wonderful farm in the centre of Zakynthos. They have goats, chickens, ducks and geese. They have a donkey. They have olive groves which make one of the best oils in the world, vines which deliver fine organic wines, and great hospitality and affection. We used our base to visit everywhere on the island.A great place to take a child, too.

Organic idyll

Lovely little house, everything was clean and worked. Owners, Dimitri and his sister, were very welcoming and helpful with suggestions of good places to visit.

Zakynthos Island is very beautiful and has lots of great restaurants with charming staff.

I would definitely recommend a visit if you are looking for relaxation, food  and beach fun, but not if you are looking for dancing  all night!

Pretty little house in a gentle location

This was our first time in Greece and we were treated to a spectacular service by the Therianos family from start to finish.  
The location itself is perfect for the nearby resorts of Alykes and Alykanas; although I would recommend hiring a car to make the best of the island.  
The surroundings were tranquil and off the beaten path; something we were hoping for.  
The farm itself is fully functional and uses organic and traditional farming techniques that have been passed down for hundreds of years with true regard to the land and the animals as well.  You could tell that the animals were healthy, well looked after and taken care of. 
Dimitris and Sia were always on hand to help out in any way that they could and were so delightfully friendly that it felt like staying with relatives.  They helped us out with some difficulties towards the end of their trip and we are truly grateful to them for being so kind.  

Our villa was pristinely kept; and had a lovely little veranda with plenty of privacy where we could relax with a glass of the farm-made wine (The Red is beautiful!) after a long day of sightseeing.  All of the rooms were laden with traditional furniture and décor and had a real homely feel.  
There is a local supermarket only a 2-minute drive or 10-minute walk away to pick up groceries and plenty of restaurants nearby at the local resort.  

I cannot recommend this place enough if you want to sample the Greek lifestyle rather than stay in a hotel.  The staff are so friendly and really go the extra mile to help their customers.  You won't regret staying here!

Beautiful Location; Wonderful staff!

Not a conventional accomodation, and this was exactly what we were looking for! Nice location, not near a beach but in central and "green", beautifull hill in back.The "villas" are confortable and spacious, cleaned every 2 days included towels change.Absoluty racommended .

Nice and confortable

I learned so much about the health benefits of (high polyphenol) olive oil! Also enjoyed regular olive oil tasting, along with honey, wine, raisins and liqueurs. Beautiful property a bit off the beaten path but worth a visit!
