We stayed for 4 nights in August and until the last day were very happy with our apartment. Due to limited availability we got the big apartment they have on the 2nd floor, with two spacious rooms and huge king size bed. The building is newly constructed, the rooms are very clean, big balcony, where you even can work-out, stunning front sea view, very quiet. The beach is just a couple of steps down to the sea (not organized), 2 minutes from the port and 5-10 minutes walking distance from the nearest taverns for dinner. So far so good, isn't it? Until the last day when we we were going to leave the place. As our ship was leaving at 19:00 and we had a whole day free in front of us, we asked if we could keep the luggage somewhere and if it was possible to maybe have a shower before we go. As the place is family owned, there was a father and a daughter we were liaising with, and as there was no availability they told us that if we come back we could take a shower at their premises. "Oh how nice of them", i thought. So the time was around 11:00 and I got back to the room to pack. At 12:05 the daughter knocked at our door to start the cleaning. We were almost ready at that point but still wanted 10 more minutes to finish the packing, for which I asked very politely. A hotel employee myself for 14 years, believe me if nothing else my job taught me how to communicate with people. But what followed had overcome all my previous experience. In less than 5 minutes her father appeared at our door screaming and shouting that if we were not leaving immediately he would call the police and make us pay a half of the daily rate. Seriously people?! For 10 minutes? You cannot even imagine the hysteria. I was trying to keep calm and told him that we were leaving we just needed 5 more minutes! In 5 minutes time we were ready with our things, by the way the lift doesn't work, so you may have to take your luggage downstairs with your hands, and it's a 2nd floor! Of course we refused to pay a half of the daily rate while the guy continued yelling at us threatening with a police and arrest and etc. it was terrible. And sad. It never happened to me to experience this kind of Greek "hospitality". I feel sad for these people who haven't learned the basics of owning a hotel and dealing with its guests. Moreover, be careful with the location. If you want to explore the island Poros is not the best village to stay - everything is very far and you will have to drive kilometers to the capital and other places of interest or beaches.

Watch out for the "late" check-out

Very nice location. It is located close to the road, at the exit from Poros to Skala, is close to a small beach with pavels and the sandy beach is in skala at 12 km. There is also a closer beach at about 1,5 km, in Poros. A beach with sand and pavels. 
Very clean, nice room, nice owners. Everything is perfect. The view to the sea is great. Thet also have a big private parking. One must come and see to believe that is great!
