This was not our first stay at Villa Sofia and as always, everything was spot on. The hospitality is like being among family, the rooms are modern and very clean, the food is good and everything was excellent value for money
The area is quiet and only a short walk from all the amenities in Ipsos

Spot on!

Villa Sofia is run by Sofia and her son Kostas nothing is too much trouble for them they are wonderful hosts. The villa is beautifully clean and the pool although a tad cold in October is very clean. Breakfast is great value and cooked and prepared freshly. We had a lovely time and will look forward to visiting again.

Great value really nice hosts

We were greeted by extremely welcoming and  friendly hosts Kostas and his mother Sofia upon arrival! It was really nice, we felt like home. They were lovely and made our stay very confortable. It might be one of the best places we've ever stayed. We would come back with no doubts and can strongly recommend to stay here. Villa Sofia is extremely tidy and nicely decorated place with plenty of beautiful flowers and excellent clean pool with warm water in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. Very good location close to great beaches and wonderful promenade of Ipsos for a wonderful walk by the sea. Great for quiet stopover or extended stay to explore the  Corfu! It's only few minutes by car to Kerkyra. It easy to find and park. The breakfast was amazing and had a huge selection and was situated in a lovely terrace near the great blue poll and excellent bar in which Costas has a great variety of different hot drinks. The apartment is away from the very touristic area and therefore is excellent to rest.  Our room was very clean and everything was freshly laundered and every day cleaned! The small kitchen has all the basic things that you need. The Wifi works great in the room. Costas gave us a map of the island and told in detail what to visit. I recommend to stay few days to fully enjoy the place, because it perfect for a relaxing long stay.

Stayed at Villa Sofia in early May ,absolutely fantastic , has to be the best value for money anywhere.
The apartments are very clean and tidy ,and the pool and grounds are beautiful .
Breakfast served by the pool bar , with the most attentive hosts imaginable ,whats not to like ! .
What really makes this place special are the hosts / owners Sofia and Kostas nothing is to much trouble and their friendliness is heartwarming , all in all exceptional .

It was our first time visiting Corfu and although we had a thunderstorm everyday we loved every minute of our holiday! We stayed at Villa Sofia as it ticked many of our boxes that we wanted for our holiday, having a pool, pool bar, supermarket nearby and not far to the nightlife and restaurants and reasonably priced. The apartment was a good size, however the bathroom was quite small- it had what was needed but we found the space in the bathroom was a problem as you couldn’t sit on the toilet comfortably, the other apartments may be different as there is only 6 but that was a downfall for us!! The nearest supermarket is a 2 min walk and the town is a 10 min walk, there is a variety of restaurants in Ipsos but they are mainly Greek, which sounds daft but sometimes you fancy something a bit different than souvlaki or gyros!! There is a Chinese that is really good food and also Als taverna was good value for money and a lovely setting right on the sea. There is a range of bars however none of the bars held any caberet nights, bingo nights or entertainment!! We didn’t find this a problem but sometimes it’s nice to join in something like this on holidays! We enjoyed our stay at villa Sofia but as our flight was late at night we had what we had thought arranged late check out and on the day of departure we got told we hadn’t and had to be out our appt at 12noon, there is no courtesy room or reception area and although we hadn’t found this a problem, on your last day of holiday when the temperature is about 35- 40 degrees you want a shower before travelling!!! We had to get changed and dressed in the pool bar area which is on the main road and although we managed it wasn’t ideal. The apartments are owned by a family and they are cleaned on a daily basis. We were bitten to death by mosquitos and although we did have repellant and room plug ins it didn’t make much difference!!

Great stay! Good location!

We went here for breakfast one morning . The breakfast was ok but the coffee wasn't hot . It was only a short walk from our hotel , would say prefare the breakfast at the apartments better . This hotel only as six apartments it looks ok the family who run it are friendly.  It as all the English television and film channels.

We slept a night in this small hotel in Corfù. I tell You.... the owners are really wonderful! Unluckily for them the hotel is located in an area of Corfù called Ipsos which is completely abandoned. It is full of closed shops and unbuilt houses. What a pity. In 5 minutes you get to the seaside which is a bit better but there the situation is quite caotic so we ate in a typical greec tavern along with buses passing by every minute. Anyway the rooms of the hotel were very clean and please believe me, apart all, you should meet the owners, the are worth the stay.
