This villa didn't really live up to our expectations both from the description and the price we paid. Yes it was early in the season but we were expecting a pool and all we got was a very scruffy outdoor area with the pool cordined off. To say our grandchildren were disappointed is an understatement. The interior was clean and satisfactory.The description needs to be factual so if there aren't the advertised facilities say so.

A little disappointed

I stayed here for about 10 days with my family and my in-laws also stayed there during the same period. 

It was an absolute pleasure. Privacy, great service but balanced well with giving you your space. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating (we made a few requests which they were very happy to help with). 

Clean, big rooms, comfortable bathrooms. You will not find a better option, especially at that price and location. The taxi point is just on the back of the hotel and the bus stops about 100m from the hotel. There's a nice little coffee shop/bar in front and a gyro place next door. Police station across the road (hopefully you won't need it though) and a mini supermarket across the street. 

The owner is always there and ready to help. Very hospitable, in true Greek style. Fluent English. Makes a great coffee :)

What more could you ask for???

Best Hotel in Rhodes!

Just back from a very enjoyable week in Rhodes,(02/09/2017 to 09/09/2017), staying at this marvellous little hotel. I have read over all the reviews to see if there is anything I can add but it seems to have all been well covered.

The hotel is in a great location, very handy for buses and taxi rank, we took a taxi to Rhodes town only 12 euros. It a pleasant 10 - 15 minute walk to the beach passing the many bars and restaurants. 

The hotel itself is spotlessly clean the rooms are spacious and have air con which would be a blessing in July / August. The rooms were cleaned and towels were changed every day. The free wifi worked very well. The pool and area are small and well kept, Plenty sunbeds and chairs great for a dip after being out during day. The bar you can either sit inside or out by the pool and serves meals/ snacks at a reasonable price. Very nice for a last drink or two before bed,

The hotel staff are wonderful. All very pleasant and nothing is too much trouble for them. Manos and his Dad were very helpful and able to offer advice, point you in the right direction or have a chat.

Was the ideal choice for our holiday and I would happily go back to the Ialyssos City Hotel if I go back to Rhodes.

Great Hotel - Great Location - Great Staff

really looked after in this family run hotel - ticks all the boxes - handy location - made to feel very welcome / nothing too much trouble - decent sized quipped rooms - good air-con - nice snacks - pool - everything you could need and very reasonable - would happily return

A Warm Welcome & Value for Money

A good place to stay if you want a clean, simple and spacious apartment centrally located in Ialyssos.  The owners are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is huge! We only missed fresh orange juice and fresh bread...but the egg and bacon made up for it. The apartment was spacious for two people, but the bathroom was very small. We had a balcony overlooking the taxi rank, and it became a bit noisy during the evening and early morning, but not a big problem. It took us about 10 minutes to walk to the beach and  around 5 minutes to walk to the big supermarket. Lots of restaurants and shops right outside the hotel. Very satisfied with our stay and would not hesitate to return. 

Central location and friendly service

We stayed for 3 weeks at ialyssos city hotel and had a great time! We felt immediatly at home and we had a big and good room. The air conditioning was working very good, really nice because it was hot outside. The location is perfect, close to the shops, restaurants and also close to the beach. A big supermarket is on walking distance (7 minutes) from the hotel. Manos and his staff are really kind, friendly and helpfull. We are coming every year to Rhodos, but Ialyssos city hotel is one of the best from where we stayed!
