Eumelia is a beautiful and sustainable retreat surrounded by olive groves that Frangiskos and Marilena have created in the rural Peloponnese. The houses are lovely, sustainable, and very comfortable. The included breakfast is delicious (prepared by Marilena and eaten in your room and kitchenette.). My daughter loved being surrounded by nature, the cats, dogs, and farm animals. While beautifully remote, Eumelia is a relatively easy drive from the Mani, Nafplio, and numerous coastal towns. Our main regret was that we did big trips each day and didn't spend enough time moving slow in the beautiful setting. One flag -- make sure to check driving directions on their website and follow their directions (through Gouves) rather than Google or Apple maps. We did not do that and ended up on a very long dirt road route through the olive groves that was somewhat harrowing in our rental car.
