Hotel Kakanakos

A nice no-nonsense hotel right on the beach. First, if you are looking for a five-star accommodation with a marble bathroom, little umbrella drinks, and endless white sandy beach - this is not it. But if you want a taste of real Greece, very helpful owners, crystal-clear water, and good local restaurants within walking distance, this would be it. We stayed there just one night due to the schedule, but would have gladly stayed longer. The beach and the water bottom have slightly rough pebbles which are typical for many beaches in Greece, and it may require rubber shoes/flip-flops of a sort. On the other hand, the water couldn't get any better - crystal clear and warm. Beach chairs are available for the guests. There is parking right in front of the hotel in their property. The hotel has an elevator.
