We stayed at Stetten to be within range of Meersburg - and Konstanz.  There are bus stops (to and fro) almost directly outside and our hostess was kind enough to make sure we knew the timings to be able to travel on the through-bus (by ferry) to Konstanz, when we asked.  [That's a good value option, by the time you tot up the fuel, parking, ferry-fare, and any other hassle about driving there, yourself.]
The room was comfortable, the service was competent and friendly, the food and drink was good.
We'd be happy to stay there again, if our travels take us that way again.

Country Inn with friendly and helpful hosts - and parking

We had a room heading the road, and it is amazing the traffic a little peaceful place like Stetten has. It was a bit noisy overnight. Probably, in the rooms heading to the Lake, this would not be a problem.
There is a parking place, so if you arrive by car, you don't have to worry about it.
The room was not very well decorated, rather a bit old-fashioned.
The staff were just kind, not the type of host that tries to make you feel welcome.
The place was ok, but I would not go there again, I did not feel comfortable.

Food and beverages: no bad surprise, no good surprise either! The service has been just OK, not so friendly as expected by the friendly exterior and the beautiful landscape. Very simple dishes, unfortunately not very tasty more "no taste at all".

We were very pleased with the standard of the rooms and service at this delightful country hotel after having a very disappointing experience at another local  hotel the night before.

The main dining room is so cosy and welcoming, the staff so friendly and helpful and we were pleased with the spacious and clean bedrooms and bathroom. We ate in the restaurant  and were very impressed with the traditional but very well prepared and delicious food, also the very generous portions. At breakfast on Easter Sunday we were given chocolate Easter bunnies with our meal and enjoyed a delicious buffet in the cheerful dining room. We would certainly recommend it as great value, if not luxury, country hotel in a very good tourist location, close to Meeresburg and other locations around Lake Constance.

Warm and Welcoming in Great Location

In September 2013, I have had a very pleasant stay at this fine and well-managed hotel. Not only was the room clean and tidy but also the location of the room at the rear of the building was very quiet. The regional German cuisine in the cozy restaurant was mouth-watering and the staff were very polite and helpful.  This close to Meersburg located hotel is truly superb and I can highly recommend it !
