Quite good country side hotel near Clauen. Reception closed at evening but access with code delivered by reception. Could have been nice to have info when booking the room. My room is ok size, desk and a good bathroom. Could wish more power on hair dryer. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruit, bread, selection of different kind of jam and meat, eggs of own choice. Quite place but a party Saturday night a private party made little noise.

Good points of this hotel:

+ messebuffet is price quality a very good deal
+ breakfast is good, allthough no toaster available
+ bath room is adequate buth not so nice cleaned, dust everywhere
+ enough closet space for your clothing for a weeks stay

Bad points of this hotel:

- walls seem to be cupboard made, you hear all the noise from the neighbouring rooms and the hallways
- tapestries in the room are filthy, if you look under your bed it's discusting. Last time they vacuum cleaned under the bed must have been months ago, anyway, I'm no fan of tapestries in hotels, if they are not vacuumed properly my feeling gets even worse
- They pretend to be a business/conference hotel, well, than make at least wifi available in the rooms!!!
- Room size is extremely tiny
- General cleaning is very bad (dust in the bath room everywhere, after one day, the first 30cm's are wiped, the dust is there and stays there on the rest of the tablet around the sink)
- 3 spiders in my room when I arrived
- black-out curtains are one layer of white linen, so sleeping at night is difficult since it's far to light + you wake up early with the first sunrise.

My general idea about a what a good hotel is offering:

1) clean room: i would give this hotel 1/5
2) silent room: the environment is silent but the rooms are not noise proof at all (2/5)
3) wifi in the room: strange story about big investment and wrong installation, we didn't have any signal during our 6 night stay, so the hotel didn't solve this allthough multiple people from our company complained (0/5)
4) dark room: this is to laugh with, with the curtains they provide (1/5)
5) good breakfast (4,5/5)

Business hotel without wifi available in the rooms + badly cleaned means no good marks from me...

Ok so it is not cheap because, if you stay here for a convention you can't find rooms anywhere unless you book months in advance.  The rooms are a bit tired, as the previous reviewer stated the fridge doesn't work.  Other minus points, too few non smoking rooms so the rooms smell of stale cigarettes.  No soap provided and stingy with the shower gel etc.  The plug in the sink doesn't work properly making wet shaving a pain.  no German beer in the bar (only Carlsberg, boo!) and the wine is also not good quality.  Location is ok for the Messe approx 20 minute taxi ride.  Plus points, the (buffet) food in the restaurant is reasonably good and not over priced.  The staff are also helpful and friendly, eg I was offered a coffee to take with me in the taxi to the airport.  So in conclusion I think the owners need to invest in freshening up and refurbish the rooms but otherwise is OK though if I could I would book earlier, pay ,ore and stay closer to the exhibition halls of the Messe

This has got to be the biggest rip off ever, €189 bed only for a tiny cell, no air con, fridge doesn't work. Old furniture. Terr
