Hotel Hagnauer Seeperle

We stayed for four nights in the Seegold room with lake view. Spacious room. Comfy large bed, large balcony, fridge, nespresso. All very modern and absolutely spotless! Breakfast was excellent in a lovely sunny room or outside. Good choice and good quality food served by friendly staff. The pool was a welcome treat during very hot weather. Again modern, super clean and a sauna and infrared cabin as extras. Gowns and slippers provided in room. Parking directly outside and a garage for our rental bikes was good. The little village is a great place to stay. The hotel is in the heart of it with plenty of good quality restaurants, pubs and eiscafes nearby. The harbour is very close and the network of lake ships is a great way to explore the area. I recommend taking or hiring a bike as the cycle paths are extensive, relatively flat and very pretty. Bikes can be taken on the boats too. The spa at Meersburg is worth a visit but can be very busy at weekends. The local wine is superb. Lovely part of Germany.
