I had a business merting in Bremen, and decided to have a lunch here. That was a hit, no less. 

Fantastic seafood, good local beer and the patio outside made a superb experience in the warm sunny weather. 

Would love to come back. 

Super lunch

It is a hotel, restaurant and place to enjoy cake of a great variety with a coffee also with different types and view onto the river Weser hopefully with a glimpse of one of the multi million dollar yachts manufactured in the other side of the river.

I have stayed here twice, both times at the invitation of a company I was visiting nearby. It’s location in a busy river means there if always something fun to see out the window, and the adjacent park like setting  along the riverbank makes for love,y walks. The rooms are large by European standards and the bathrooms are too. Lighting could be a bit better, however. I like radiator heating, so it perfectly suited me on this recent visit when it was cold. I would have been happier if the room had a coffee maker. On my first visit I had a river view room, the second trip I chose a less expensive room and got a parking lot view, but if you are just there to sleep, no matter. The bed was comfy  and the duvet very puffy. Nice large, walk in shower.
The hotel has a large bar and restaurant, which is rather formal and Has a menu that is decidedly German. In nice weather there are tables outside. Staff is helpful and speak English. It is a €50 taxi from airport and outside Bremen proper.

Good quality and value in a charming location 

There are very few accommodation options in Vegesack and this is the best by far. Lovely view of the river, near the train station and right next to the ferry terminal. Rooms are large with huge windows. They are a bit dated but clean, bright and airy. No a/c but the windows can be opened. 

Best hotel in Vegesack

We stayed here for two nights for a wedding. The room was spacious with a lovely view of the river and the ferry. The room was a bit outdated, but it was clean and did the job. 

The hotel bar is very small unless you sit outside. It took a long time to get a drink and quite a lot of the time there was no one manning the bar at all. On the Sunday they have a BBQ which is 25 Euros all you can eat. It Looked nice but slightly pricey considering the area. 

When checking out I tried to pay for my sister's room in the boarding house with my Amex but was told they didn't take Amex. The next morning I paid for our room and they did take Amex after all.

Overall hotel was slightly expensive compared to others in the area and had the wedding not been in the hotel I would not have stayed here.

Pleasant stay, nice view from room

Been here quite sometime over the years, the place is still good but it somehow lost the charm of the earlier days. Some things: still have to pay for parking, stupid Wi-Fi voucher and reception not all that good. But the friendly staff remained such as the good rooms which are clean and decent and the breakfast still good too. Obvious the bad is that stupid ferry that starts so early in the morning is still there. Anwyay,
