Hôtel Hibiscus Louis in Libreville is a gem nestled around popular bars and restaurants, making it easy to explore the vibrant Louis, Bord de Mer, and 3 Quartiers areas. Its convenient location means food deliveries and transportation are a breeze, which takes the stress out of getting around.While the pool is fantastic, weekends can get a bit crowded with kids. typical for city pools! The hotel could benefit from more elevators (they only have one) and some tech updates, especially the TVs in the rooms. A little cosmetic renovation wouldn't hurt either to freshen things up.However, what truly stands out are the staff. From the concierge to the cleaning team and valet, everyone goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The night accounting manager (le commercial)  has been especially helpful, and their dedication is a big reason I keep returning. Overall, it’s the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the staff that makes Hôtel Hibiscus feel like home.

My brief stay at Hibiscus was pleasant. The staff were friendly, the restaurant had delicious drinks and the room was well cooled and prepared on my late evening arrival. Free airport transportation is a major bonus and the photos don’t do the hotel justice. Even though this is not a large or brand name hotel such as Radisson, my experience here was much better than Radisson in LBV from a previous stay.

Great hotel, and very helpful staff led by Marjorie and Lean. Lean came to my rescue at the airport on my arrival first day. No problem too big for Hibiscus Louis to solve. Annick, Arnold, Jibbi, Beranger, Priscilla were all magnificent hosts. Just one unfortunate blimp halfway through my stay involved me waking up late at night to find a stranger in my room 'replacing my bath towels' - It was a very strange and frightening moment which was never explained till I left. Apart from this, a near perfect ten night stay. Will definitely return.

Near Perfection

This hotel deserves 100 stars for exemplary excellence in hospitality. So far so good I've decided to stay a few more extra days. A special shout out to Night Managers Lean and Beranger, plus the daytime female crew Annick/Priscilla and the charming Bala Jibe who sorted out a Gabon Telecom Sim card in record time. Hibiscus Rocks!!!

The quality vs price was excellent. The breakfast buffet has many varieties.

This hotel is decent but lacks minor necessities such as a microwave

My wife and I stayed 3 nights, arriving at 10AM on the hotel’s LBV Airport shuttle. A French-speaking receptionist copied our passports while we filled out police forms.  After paying with a MC, a key card was produced and Eric, the English-speaking reception manager, carried our bags to the Building #2 elevator. 
2nd floor room #202 was spacious and tiled, with a comfortable queen, across a large TV with good reception(Africa News & Bloomberg in English, then Canal +, France 24 & Nat. Geo. in French and more local channels), closet with hot pot & coffee, desk & 2 chairs, medium sized refrigerator, opening door to a small balcony and a fully outfitted bathroom with quick hot water & a tiled shower. 
The nice sized room has proper lighting on one side of the room/1 outlet, quiet AC, good secure WIFI and was serviced daily.
We did not use the 7AM breakfast buffet for $9/per person but did swim in the clean pool. 
This practical hotel has 2 buildings separated by 2 pools; 
-1st building is the oldest with a small reception lobby(free water dispenser), small restaurant and a guarded parking lot.
-2nd building from 2008 has a large interior court and a top floor event hall(city views) which can be noisy at times.
We made the 2.5km walk down to the center’s Carrefour for their excellent healthy lunch choices and Eric called for “Wesley” in his new car for a city tour.


Comfortable ~50 room double hotel separated by swimming pools.

Great, comfortable and hospitable hotel with free shuttle. Main (only) disadvantage was loud music in the bar/club till early morning hours - approximately till 3 a.m. Hotel rooms are not fully sound proof, regrettably.

Very nice if you don’t mind music playing all day and night it’s a very nice hotel

For a few euros more, stayed in the brand new “A” building, which had a simple courtyard, A/C, working mini fridge, hot water and great shower pressure. The two pools were clean and refreshing. The Level 5 rooftop on the “A” building provided a lovely 360 view of the city, and served as natural air conditioning while I sat and worked on my laptop. Wifi was strong enough in one of the corners.
