I don’t like writing negative reviews but I felt I had to about this place. Avoid at all costs!!! The most unfriendly, arrogant and rude staff you could ever imagine. We had planned to have dinner there but after being made feel so unwelcome and badly treated we finished our drinks and left…never to return!! Steer clear of!

Rude waiter! Terrible service! AVOID!

Beware of booking and then trying to cancel. Snooty staff who hang up if you can't speak French. They do not respond to emails, text messages or messages on the website. And they deduct payment for the entire stay even if you cancel in time.

Bad treatment

We had a good time at the hotel, but a few comments. It is a bit of an old hotel, which is not a big problem. But the beds were small and too hard, it gave me some back pain every morning. Also a bit overpriced for what you get. 
Be aware, no airconditioning but a ventilator. On hot days it can get warm in your room. 
The room was very clean and got cleaned every day. 

Clean, older hotel

Good food ("filets de perche" - and I've tasted a lot in the region!), friendly waiter, a table under the sun at midday, a great view. Easy to park the car. This wasn't planned but we had a great time. Simple and very pleasant.

The hotel is located in a nice area with beautiful view on the lake, restaurant with good food, outside seating and 10 min. walk to the lake.The hotel and rooms are not that fresh anymore - that's may be why it is 2* rated

Nice place 2* hotel

Stopped off at the Acacias for one night after tossing the coin between this hotel and another, the view clinched it. We arrived just before the restaurant closed, at 9.30 pm, and after airport food & airline sandwiches, we were happy to get there in time and were looking forward to a nice meal, which we got, choosing the Petites Fritures (Whitebait) chips, salad, wine, desserts and coffee. All in all nice, mid-range pricing with a friendly service.

The Reception & staff, in general, were friendly and the room price ok, you pay in advance. 
Hotel amenities. There’s no lift and unless there are rooms on the ground floor, which I didn’t see, the hotel isn’t suitable for mobility reduced persons. The WCs for staying guests are on the floors, in the corridors, as is/are the bathroom(s), not in the rooms, at least not in the room we had although (#4) although it did have a washbasin, a shower unit minus the usual complementary products… and a functioning bidet next to the table, which surprised us but then why not? There’s a flat screen TV in the room but after a couple of tries to switch it on, and I regularly stay in hotels and have switched on a fair number of TVs, I gave up, the batteries in the remote probably just needed changing but that's for the housekeeping to check.
Sleeping quality was so-so ok but we were frequently disturbed during the night by people going to the WC next to our room and slamming the WC door to close it properly. 

Breakfast, in my opinion, was rather simple for the price and while I understand that everyone has their own opinion it lacked local/regional specialities, e.g. Tomme de Savoie or Reblochon, local honey, smoked ham, and not just the usual bland industrial boiled ham, sliced gouda-like cheese, boiled eggs and usual portion packed jams & spreads.
Conclusion, the hotel is a Logis de France, representing a true French lodging experience, however, in our opinion, the decor lacked a bit of local charm. Would we go there again? No, I don't think so.

Stopover, on the way to somewhere else

The hotel is right next to Annecy, which is a lovely place. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is not very lovely. Our room was a single bedroom, which had a washbasin, a bidet and a shower all in the same space. The room did not have its own toilet, so remember to check the room description! The shower door would not close and water kept leaking on to the fitted carpet. The room was very stuffy and we both had headaches after sleeping there for one night. The walls are thin and you could hear the shared toilet being used through the adjoining wall.When checking in, we were confused as the room did not have its own bathroom and used a shared toilet. The staff kept trying to push a more expensive room on us even though we asked for a moment for ourselves. They then said that it was already paid for,  which led to some confusion while checking out. As we understood that the room had already been billed from my credit card, we left the key at the reception and walked towards the door. She started yelling at us in French that we were leaving without paying. This was not our intention and we stopped immediately. After some confusion I paid with my credit card (the "paid for" from the day before was only the cover charge). The lady kept insinuating that we had tried to leave without paying even though it was an honest mistake. The staff we met were generally very pushy and rude. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel les Acacias. The room and restaurant were excellent, and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel and restaurant

My husband and I were looking for a place to eat near Annecy and this restaurant had a good view overlooking the lake and being a Logis de France we thought the food would be good.  It was a very hot evening - about 35 degrees.  We were able to get a table and asked for the drinks to be brought before the food as we were thirsty.  We asked for a dry white wine.  The waitress told us she didn't know which wine was dry as she didn't drink wine - she didn't offer to find out, so we asked if there was anyone she could ask who did know!  We were recommended a wine (the most expensive) and we also asked for a jug of water.  We waited and waited and it didn't come so I reminded the waitress but she still didn't bring it.  Eventually I asked another waiter who said he'd go and ask our waitress.  Still it didn't arrive.  we waited a good while longer and eventually I asked a rather scruffy man who was hovering around and seemed to be the boss.  It then eventually came - the waitress said she'd 'had a problem with her colleague'. In all we had to ask four times for the drinks.  When the food came it was ok but certainly nothing special for a meal that was quite pricey and the service definitely left a lot to be desired.  Would not go back.
