Grand Hôtel de la Gare Toulon – Boutique Hôtel

Located just opposite the railway station this is a convenient place, when travelling by train. Reception was very friendly and check-in was easy. The hotel has four floors and my room was in a corner of the 2nd floor. It was not all right angles and it had a small, non accessible balcony outside the window, with a traditional iron railing. There is no key card for the room, but a key, which has to be handed to reception, when leaving the place. The double bed was comfortable and there was a small writing desk plus a coffee machine. The bathroom was good with a shampoo and shower gel dispenser. WiFi functioned well, also the A/C, which could not be individually regulated, but by calling reception, which immediately worked. Breakfast is on the first floor, starting at 7am during the week and at 8am on weekends. There is a nice little choice of items.
