Arrived at 12:30am and were gone by 7:30am after a basic breakfast.  We use these hotels when we are travelling across France.  They are very basic (shared toilets and showers, which are fibreglass preconstructs), but they are also clean, warm and comfortable.  If you are looking for a cheap place to put your head down, they are great.  For the price the food is OK, but nothing special, no protein; just carbs and liquid.

This one was particularly hard to find, so make sure you have a good map or satnav.  Signage isn't that great.  It's also located handily to the major roads, but you don't hear the traffic.

Just what you need for a pitstop

My first impressions of this hotel were not good as there were too many shady characters lurking around on the lane between the Formule 1 car park and the Kyriad Hotel on the opposite side. The receptionist was very cold to the English guests in front of me, but she was ok with me since my French is as good as hers. However, she said that I had to take a room on the ground floor much to my displeasure because the ground floor at Formule 1 is noisier and dirtier than the others usually. I went to my room (number 139) and soon discovered what a shabby hotel it is : the access code machine was virtually falling to bits in my hands and the window could not be closed. On closer inspection, i realised the reason for this was that the window was larger than the frame. I overheard my neigbours also sruggling trying to close the window. So, they must be all the same. Indeed, there were one or two people outside my ground floor window smoking. So, a determined burglar could have undoutedly entered fairly easily. The television had no remote control and the washbasin was stained. However, the toilets and showers I entered were fairly clean. No problem there. Also, the room was quiet during the night despite an unclosing window.  However, after breakfast, there was a MIddle Easterner playing loud Middle Eastern music in the room opposite with the room door open. However, at that time of day, it didn't matter.   Breakfast was the usual Formule 1 affair, but there was a dog in the breakfast room that belonged to a guest or breakfast customer. The morning receptionist gave the dog several strokes and then later must have handled the food. I didn't see her handling it, but she didn't go and wash her hands though. I paid €24 for the room.

Unsafe hotel due to unclosing windows in rooms

I traveled with my husband and my daughter and booked a triple room. When we arrived at the hotel there was no more triple room available. We as well as the hotel were lucky: we got 2 twin rooms, problem solved.
The rooms are refurbished and look nice though they are small, but enough for just a night sleep. No en suite, but showers and restrooms are nearby and of good quality. All in all a good stay for a very reasonable price. We will stay there again.
