We had a really nice stay at this lovely chambres d'hotes. It's a real character house in a very pretty and peaceful place. Hens running round the garden. We had a very spacious and comfortable bedroom. Our hosts were charming and we enjoyed a delicious home cooked 4 course meal round the table with other guests. Thoroughly recommended.

Comfortable accommodation in peaceful setting

We only stayed one night with Stephan and Natalie which was a shame. It was lovely. We arrived after a long drive and were immediately beguiled by the charm and warmth of the place and its hosts. We relaxed with a glass of local wine in the lovely garden before a delicious home cooked, four course meal. The room was huge and the bed very comfortable. 
I cannot recommend this highly enough for those who like a personal rather than a corporate  experience. We will return for longer and explore the lovely countryside.

Charming

3 of us stayed here recently during our walk on the Via Francigena.    We were made so welcome by our hosts and as we relaxed in their beautiful garden , were given a history of the old farm house.  The rooms are wonderfully generous with plenty of space and good baths and showers. 
Dinner was served at 730pm.  4 courses including a great selection of local cheeses.  
We purchased local rose and red wine , at a good price . 
Breakfast the next morning was good and filling and set us on our way for another 29 km stage of the VF.

A Beautiful Lodging   So well run

Great communication with Stephane., answering all our questions .
We arrived and were greeted with a drink just what we needed !
The rooms are amazing each one different . We sat in the garden just listening to the peace and quiet .
Book dinner it was really good , Nathalie and Stephane and such great hosts . Explaining each course .

A great stopover , could have stayed longer

This place was very unexpected in that the house and garden are spectacular. This is owned by two Dutch ladies who have decorated the building to an exceptional standard. Photos attached. The owners are very discreet. They provide a very well cooked restaurant quality evening meal at a very reasonable price. The alfresco dining is a great experience. I would Definitely recommend this as a stopover en route through France.

A gem of a place 

This B&B has Dutch owners, who were not overly welcoming. It is way off the beaten track in a very small village with no restaurant but on some nights they cook a set menu for the guests and you can sign up. Breakfast was simple but nice. The location is perfect if you want to stay around and enjoy the countryside but a bit too remote for a one night stop. The house rules about how to tiptoe around their rescue  dog would be funny if they weren't so serious!

Stoic & Scenic

We only stayed here one night as a stop-over during our drive to the south of France. 
It is a lovely location in the middle of the French countryside. The house and the garden are beautiful. The owners are friendly but also a little bit reserved. In the room there is a map with some information about the surroundings but also with some "rules of the house" which we found was a bit strict for a bed and breakfast. Dinner and breakfast are good. There is no private parking which we found was a disadvantage with a car fully packed...

Good stop-over!

A lovely location and ideal for us travelling from the Swiss Alps to London and having a relaxing one night stay.
We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed the room with the settee and kitchen area. Very nice.
Top tip...take some food with you if you don't want to drive to a restaurant for dinner. There is nothing in the village itself. However, the breakfast was delicious and thank you for a pleasant time.

A pleasant place to stop and relax

La Vallee Vert is located in the tiny village of Grandchamp. The house is charming, the garden relaxing, and the optional dinner was extraordinary. An unexpected joy was looking out the skylight in my room and seeing a sky full of stars. The bucolic location enabled wonderful visibility of the night sky. The house is frequented by many Dutch travelers so English is readily spoken.
