Horrible bed bug infestation!!!  The staff were nice and great location but we have hundreds of bites after just two nights . Absolutely miserable....  I will post photos I took of our bodies but we have confirmed this is definitely bed bugs- I probably have over a 100 bites and my wife I’d just as bad - I’m hoping we did t bring any home with us .

No luxury obviously but quite allright for a 2 Star. 
Very good internet, clean, lots of water in the shower, friendly staff. Placed on a beautiful and quiet street with beautiful old houses, close to the main street. 

Very good for a 2 Star hotel 

Friendly English-speaking service at the reception desk and small but clean room, at a good location and with a nice view out of the window.
Over all good value, would definitely stay there again.

Parking space is hard to find in Corte, but there's a Parking Payant behind the Duc de Padoue hotel, across the street and one block up from Le Paix.

Simple but clean

It's a two stars hotel and deserves three stars here. It's not a bad hotel, it is just rather basic but does the trick. It has a nice view on the mountains and donkeys below the balcony which is lovely. The area, la place du Duc de Padoue, is probably the most beautiful one in Corte not to be in the old town.
The bedroom was all right but the corridor was very noisy starting slightly before 8. I don't know how come, but it was infuriating. The staff was ok and the owner, a poetry enthusiast, a very pleasant man. It wasn't incredible but I paid around 90 euros for a decent bed and two breakfasts which is quite ok. I will probably go back.

Decent

The first drawback of this hotel is that it is at the end of a road with parking on both sides and the middle, so that our bus was not able to get along the street, and had to let us off on the busy and narrow main road. It was more like a hostel than a hotel, but good for ( younger) groups. Having said that, there was a group of middle aged cyclists who were coping well. Our group was 29 in number, and supper was served at one long table; no choice. Excellent soup in a tureen, one between 5. The chicken would once have been good, but was rather dried up by the time it was served.
The building old and a bit tired, with memories of a Youth Hostel from ones earlier days.

Good for groups

The staff were friendly, the hotel was calm and our stay was pleasant. For a two star hotel at such a reasonable price, we couldn't have asked for more.

Its location is excellent: it's really near the town centre, but at the end of a wide, cul-de-sac, so very peaceful.

Two small criticisms: 

1. wifi coverage throughout the hotel is patchy, but it works at reception 
2. some of the hallway flooring is a bit old fashioned, but it is clean.

I recommend this hotel.

Simple, clean, quiet hotel near the centre of Corte with rooms at a fair price

I have spent two nights in this hotel because I was invited at a conference in Corte. The hotel is rather old and definitely needs some redecoration. But what I have found worst it is the service. Receptionists are very unkind and not very helpful. And quite incredibly it is not possible to pay with credit card. Finally, in the bathroom there were strange rumors coming from the pipes even during the night. 
The only positive asset is location. But I think that at the same price it is possible to find something better!
