Our room 316 had a queen-sized bed. lt was very comfortable. The room was decorated with old-fashioned style. There was no kettle. The receptionist was helpful. Open swimming pool and terrace were really nice to take some time relaxing. The most beautiful part l like was breakfast... There were a lot of options like fruit, cookies, fried bread with egg etc. lt was really tasty. lt’s an average hotel which l recommend for a short stay.

GOOD FOR A SHORT STAY

Pros.
1. Price was quite ok even during peak season considering this hotel seats on Tanjung Bungah Beach and the spacious deluxe room which has 2 super single beds. 

2. Bfast buffet has sufficient selections. Even got a small section for vegetarians. Taste wise; quite local with spices and chilis. Could be better overall.

3. Pool is big. Old design with a  poolside bar. Got kids and babies section which forms part of the whole pool.

4. Access to the beach is just a gate away. Beach was clean and ok. The sea was murky but swimable. No floating rubbish around.

Cons.
1. Too many beach games operators with jet skis etc etc. Have to be watchful. I think the hotel cant do much due to it is a public beach but would be good if they could give visitors some room on the beach.

2. Old design at this current time but could have been one of the best during the 90s. Need an overhaul.


By the beach though the room is quite outsated

It is definitely an old hotel, around 1 km from town centre.Old Tv reception is poor so much so people,s face looked green. Other amenities were ok. There are quite a number of plugs. So you could bring electric kettle, hair dryer, hp charger etc

Small Slow Lift

The hotel does not deserve four stars. We stayed for three days and what I experienced.
1. Rooms have not been cleaned under and around my bed since I entered any trash.
2. We had the internet when we came and it immediately disappeared.
Explanation The hotel has a package on a monthly basis, when the limit is broken until the first of the month there is no internet.
3.The waiters charge everything for a round higher price, the explanation they do not have to pay back.
4. The safe is not in the room, I asked at the reception desk to leave things in their safe. The answer was that all the safes were broken, but that they could leave the front desk so that no one would touch even though there was often no one at the front desk.
5. Once I found the card room on the counter at my fingertips, anyone could catch it because the receptionist was not there.
6. On the last day I had to shower with cold water because it was not warm, although I let it swell for a long time as a rule.
7. There are few channels on TV, half of which are bad and cannot be watched.
Two and a half stars maximum. Staying late August - early September 2019.

Poor quality bed, window hinge broken so would not shut correctly and had to listen to road traffic from busy main road right outside hotel,  large concrete support pillar in centre of bedroom beside the bed, overall impression is of a hotel well past its glory days and in need of refurbishment

Overrated ratings not 4 star

First encounter is taking your luggage to the first floor where the reception is. You either walk up the stairs with your heavy luggage or use a small lift fit for 2 person only at one time. We are a big tour group and have to wait for the lift for quite sometime. A big crowd waiting for the slow operating lift can be frustrating especially when one has just arrived tired. It would be good for hotel management to consider install a bigger lift for a big group of tourist to the Balkans.

Food service for breakfast was not efficient as many times when we queu, there was always food running out. Essential items like bread should be replaced as soon as quantity runs low. Management should anticipate this when you have large number of tourists eating breakfast. I just managed to have a slice of bread with jam and no coffee.
