We had a wonderful stay at Risto's guest house and would certainly recommend it as a great base for exploring around lake Ohrid. 

The guest house is in a village a few miles out of the town with fantastic views over the lake. The owners are really friendly and speak excellent English which allowed us to learn much more about the local area and country. Our room was clean and comfortable, the food was excellent with very generous servings and the homemade wine was far too drinkable.

We were made to feel very welcome, which really contributed to us having a great stay in Macedonia.

The prices were very reasonable and I'd love to return again, someday.

Fantastic place to stay, great hospitality

First, Risto guided us hiking in the surroundings, we could enjoy the mountains, the vineyards, the lake views... and after, Anita prepared us a gorgeous meal, actually the best one I had in Macedonia, everything home made with local products in a very friendly environment. Unfortunately I didn't spend any night there, but I recommend to stop by at Elshani if you are visiting the region.

Excellent meal after hiking

The place is run by a family. Easy communication as they speak perfect English. Local food prepared on request and I strongly recomand to try it. Rooms were clean and specious. We were there on a family holiday with three kids. The house is up on the hill close to nice beaches of Lake Ohrid. We had a very nice few days there, would go back any time.

Nice family run place

Perfect place, perfect room , perfect breakfast, perfect meal  and of course perfect people! The place to be in Macedonia . Don't miss this guest house , you won't be disappointed . Ideal place to discover the area especially if you like hicking.

frankly when i try to find the hotel i was upset because its far away from the centre but after we settled in room the friendship of the owners makes me very happy i just feal like i am in my summer house  atmosphere is very warm and just feel like in village.rooms and breakfast  are good enough
