Very quiet relaxing and reserved this place I would recommend any nature lover and just getting away to be on your own take go into apaneca take a sightseeing tour good

Hotel Santa Leticia is a magic place. The place is surrounded by coffee plantations. At dawn you will rise to hear hundred of birds singing in the nearby trees. The hotel has two small swiming pools, nice verandas with hammocks, and a quaint restaurant. In weekends they have marimba and live music.

Santa Leticia is one of the most tranquil places to stay when in the Apaneca area of El Salvador. There are 20 cottages spread among the gorgeous grounds, with two swimming pools. Each cottage is adequate, clean, and nice... And quiet. Hammocks are on each porch. Rooms are somewhat Spartan.  At night it can get cold in the mountains.
Turkeys, chickens, squirrels, and birds abound. Lots of interesting towns around: Apaneca, Ataco, Juayua.
The staff is helpful and friendly. The main lodge/restaurant has strong Wi-Fi.



This cabin in the mountains of Santa Leticia was beautiful. Cabin was surrounded by nature. Coffee was incredible. Staff was nice and friendly.

Stayed here for 4 nights. The staff really went out of their way to be helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Food was great had breakfast lunch and dinner during our stay. Location was fantastic. I would recommend this hotel . All staff a real asset as very friendly and helpful.

Hotel Santa Leticia is located in the vicinity of Apaneca a small town in the Apaneca Range. The hotel is part of a coffee plantation, rooms are adequate for a farm style hotel. The grounds are nicely kept with some wildlife on them, specially birds, beautiful tropical birds. I have stayed in this hotel on various occasions and as usual I am not disappointed, its location is prime since near various small towns on the Apaneca Range, Apanneca, Ataco and Juayua, which can be accessed in 15 to 20 minutes driving. 

I greatly recommend this hotel for its beautiful locations as well as its facilities.

Hotel & Coffee Farm Santa Leticia is located in the Sierra de Apaneca (Apaneca Range) in the western part of El Salvador. The hotel setting is farm style with cabin-like rooms and two swimming pools. The hotel has a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and diner, however, during low season dinner is served very early, about 5:00 PM.

My family and I have stayed in this hotel various occasions while visiting El Salvador, I find it very relaxing, a good place away from the noisy cities but still close to beautiful small towns like Apaneca, Ataco and Juayúa.

We just stayed one night because our plan was to do the zip line out of Apaneca. The grounds are quite large and beautiful. There is a pool which we used for the afternoon. It was quite windy and there was a lot of pollen if that sort of thing bothers you. The water was pretty cold but I thought it was refreshing after a long day of driving and site seeing. There were only 2 lounge chairs which would have posed a problem if there were other swimmers.
The rooms were a bit tired and a lot of the light bulbs were burned out. The beds were comfy but hot water was absent in the morning and the shower head was from a jet fighter. Wooden doors on a shower are not the best option and they had mold on them. 
The walls were paper thin and we heard everything in the next rooms and in the morning we heard all the conversations taking place outside. I can see if there was a big party of people and you wanted to get a good night sleep that you would have a problem. It's quite unfortunate because the place has great potential. There was a climbing wall and rope course that we saw but didn't have time to investigate. 
The restaurant had a very cozy atmosphere. We ate dinner there which was pretty decent for the price.
All in all, it ended up being fine for us for 1 night but I can see how it might have turned out poorly. I think that management should pay a little attention to the rooms and pool area with some upgrades. This could be a place to stay for a couple nights but as is, one night and done is good enough.
