128 reviewsThis is really the perfect spot if you want to feel like you're *kinda* in the jungle but still like to have a tiny town to eat in and walk around. When you're in the lodge you can hear the river rumble past and the birds chirp. But it's also on a road (not busy at all but leads to the small town center) so if you're able to only come for a couple of days you don't have to spend an entire day getting there. Anna and her husband have made a paradise here. Places to lounge outside, great breakfast (lunch and dinner you need to go to town for), and just in general a great vibe. I was happy just to relax and watch the river roll by but if you're into activities, Anna can hook you up no matter your budget. She told me what was good around that I didn't need to have a tour or a guide for. I loved it here! Also there are cats!!! They are pretty shy but will allow you to look at them and take pictures.
