We missed our connection in Miami, so lost out on our prepaid night at a different hotel. It turned out to be fortunate. When we arrived to Quito, our 'airport hotel' did not offer any shuttle service and a taxi would have been $35-40. The tourism desk suggested this hotel. They were there to pick us up in 15 minutes. Located in the suburbs, we had a chance to explore a small village nearby. It was quaint and lovely. At the hotel, the people could not have been nicer. The room and bathroom were spotless. It was more than adequate for one night. Our WiFi was slow, but was better in the lounge area on the second floor outside of our room. They provided transport back the airport at the unholy hour of 3:30 am. No complaints at all.
