Hotel Casa Puembo

We used this hotel for a stopover on our way to The Galápagos Islands and stayed again on our way back. Ideally situated near Quito airport. We were picked up from the airport by Rogerius the owner and stayed one night in the lovely decorated rooms. Lovely & clean. When we stayed on our way back we had a late flight and Rogerius really helped us on places to go in Quito & he drove us to the Old part of Quito where we had a great day following the list of places he had given us to see. I can honestly say that nothing was too much trouble and Rogerius and Diego were just lovely people, and would definatley stay here again if I was in that part of the world again. First class accommodation & first class service .

This is a perfect little spot to stay if you're looking for something close to the airport in Quito. It is a $15 taxi ride from the airport. The hotel is beautifully appointed, not what you'd expect given the very reasonable price. The owner is a lovely man, very kind and helpful. I booked a room with a shared bathroom but ended up taking one with a private bathroom. The rooms are small but comfortable and reasonably quiet.

Perfect spot to stay in Quito. Close to the airport with a very home feeling space to stay. The service is amazing as they will help you with an itinerary plan to see the city and propose the cheapest plan for a drive  based on what you want to see. One of the best places we have stayed for service and to relax. Internet is fast and the breakfast and dinners are great. Stay here. 

Hotel close to the airport and who's got a taxi service who can pick you up at any time at the airport. When you leave, they can drive you at the airport or wherever you want. 
The hotel is really pretty, the service is great. The owner is a very nice person who helped me by a sim card when he drove me to the bus station!

I booked this small hotel for its close proximity to the airport.  Having made the mistake of going into Quito before, I wanted somewhere more easily accessible for an early morning flight.  I think it's typical that most travelers stay only one night.  My family however stayed two nights and one day.  Know that this hotel is located near nothing of interest, except 20 minutes from the airport, so don't plan on sightseeing or finding restaurants.  We were happy for a relaxing day at the hotel to catch up on emails, laundry and rest.  The owner Rodrigo was most gracious and even offered for his wife to make the traditional potato soup for lunch. (Combined with a salad, it was wonderful.) Breakfast is simple but includes eggs. I was at first disappointed to discover instant coffee, BUT believe me, it wasn't the instant Folgers coffee my father drinks but a nice strong cup and more than satisfactory with the hot milk I requested. The choices for dinner are limited and are frozen burritos or lasagna that is heated up.  Both were good though, hot and just fine.  The dining area is very nice, as is the whole hotel... decorated is a simple, modern white, very clean and comfortable.  We were surprised to find Rodrigo himself drove us to the airport instead of calling a taxi.
