Extremely unfriendly employees, unclear pricing and made up charges, not a word of English, lost half our laundry. Gave us wrong information regarding bus schedule and hiking trails. Do not go here...

Terrible

We stayed here for two weeks and really had a super time. Our private room had a large comfortable bed and our own bathroom with shower. The shower has real hot water (not suicide electric head) and the hot water was consistent.

Our balcony had two chairs and we spent a lot of time looking at traffic and people below. We could see the waterfall through our large windows while lying in bed.

The kitchen is nice for a hostel and we made dinner several times. The gas stove is in a little room next to the kitchen in case you're looking for it in the photos.

This is not a party hostel, but the ground floor tends to be busy with reception, dining area, and lounge. We were on the upper floors and it was mostly peaceful. The first weekend we were there, a party pub up the street blared music until 2am but things were mostly quiet the following two weeks. 

Our price for such a nice room was very inexpensive, and is the best bargain for a private room with private bath I have ever seen in S. America. The owner and staff are exceptionally nice people. If you can deal with that party pub on the weekends, I highly recommend this place for couples or families.

Great Room for a Great Bargain

This was the worst stay we have had in our 6 months travel so far. The room is across the reception where there is constant talking, slamming doors. This in combination with the super loud music from the clubs in the streets makes our stay terrible. There is no way to sleep here. Not to forget that wifi sucks and staff is rude when complaining about the noise. Please: only stay here if you about to go partying until very late or get a top level room perhaps.

Horrible stay - VERY NOISY

The Host was very courteous and the rooms are for the price very good (hot Water, Balcony). The downs are a small kitchen that was not so clean and bad windows (ever car/truck that past by caused massive vibrations). 

Clean and nice Room, Hot Shower, Courteous Host

Stayed there a few times when we were in Baños and had different typs of rooms. On the first floor we had nice doublerooms, with windows and private bathroom. Beds were ok, rooms clean and quiete. Last stay was a cheaper room on the groundfloor next to the kitchen. Only windows to the room next door which locates the oven...this one is ok for a short stay, but we prefer the upstair rooms. Kitchen is clean and had good facilitys, also the owners cook there. Staff is really nice, laundry service worked out good and they also have a rooftop terrace with hammocks. We would stay here again.
