Very Nice place to stay.  We had trouble with the freezer, and mentioned it to the staff-by that afternoon we had a whole new refrigerator in our suite.  We booked through Prestige Worldwise and it could not have been easier.  Any question i had was answered with 24 hours and usually even sooner than that.  I would very much recommend this property.    
The only downfall of the whole trip was the buffet-never enough plates, and the food was just average.  Not a reason for me NOT to come back though.   
The staff at the Presidential Suites went out of their way to make sure we were all having a good time.

Presidential Suites Punta Cana

1st night both toilets plugged. Staff in no hurry to get it fixed. Heard other people had the same problem. Air conditioner sounded like it was going to blow a bearing or maybe already had. Room was big, clean and nice. Staff was good about replenishing bottled water and beer. People were very nice. Was planning on just laying around on beach but the entertainment staff JZ, Jefferson, Chupi Chupi, Perla, Castelin were so much fun that I had to participate. They were the highlight of the week. They were absolutely awesome. Bartenders in Decadence restaurant could not have done more for us. Especially Jose,  Joel and Faldo. Bellhop Speedy was great as well. Food was very good as well. Especially the Italian and Japanese restaurants. Wit staff on the beach was very attentive.  Very noisy at night with music coming from what they call a Casino that only has a few machines and 1 blackjack table. Pushy workers trying to sell you a time share.

Week of sun and fun.

We just returned home from a week at Presidential Suites-Punta Cana.  We had a wonderful week, starting with being met with Champaign!  The buildings are a little outdated, but they were clean and the staff would do everything you asked of them.  Our televisions never worked, but we did fine without.  

Food is good, drinks are great!  The staff works very hard to make you happy.  We always felt safe, and for some reason, we were not hit up by hotel staff trying to sell memberships.

By far, the best thing about this place is their entertainment staff!  Jefferson, Chupi, JZ, & Perla absolutely made the entire week perfect!  They engage with the crowd, play games, entertain you way above anything we expected.  They bring guests together & form friendships.  We looked forward to everything they did.  These kids work so hard to make sure everyone is having a great time.  I cried when we left.  Very gentle and kind people who bend over backwards for the guests!

Wakey, wakey, wakey!  Will miss you kids!

Entertainment Staff at Presidential Suites - PC

Our room was oceanfront (one of about 12) and was all that we needed, although it seems since you are all inclusive they leave nothing in your kitchenette but glasses and cups. Once VIP Alberto equipped our room and got the phone working all was good. The restaurants we thought left much to be desired, but decadence buffet had something every meal we went in that was at least pretty good. I personally enjoyed all the time outdoors with the athletic crew especially Jefferson,Perlou, and JZ. They kept something going daily although most of the games could have been improved with some $ put into their material. The beach’s were small but offered many chairs and app. 20 canopied day beds like at PP. the beach bar crew was super as well.  A fun stay

Although the resort falls far shy of puerto plata the staff worked just as hard to make us happy

Check in was a little long, but the resort is well staffed with lots of super friendly and helpful people.
A special shout out to the entertainment staff of Ricardo (Chupi, Chupi), JZ, Jefferson, Perla and Melvin who were the heartbeat of the resort, keeping patrons of all ages involved in a wide array of fun activities on the beach such as volleyball, darts, ring toss, bocce, beach Olympics, aerobics, dancing, yoga, Spanish lessons, etc, etc. I have never been to a resort where there was anything close to this presented by such a warm, fun and engaging group of people. 
There was nightly themed entertainment such as a Michael Jackson show, a magic show and a circus show to name a few that were very well done.
In addition to this, you got great food and drink service in the open air areas around the pools and out on the beach.
The buffet was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner presenting a very wide variety of foods, some I recognized and some I didn't, but always plenty to go around and not too bad either. 
There was a pretty good presence of security throughout the resort and they were very good a keeping non-patrons and peddlers off the grounds and property beach areas.
The rooms themselves were fairly spacious and clean. Ours had a nice kitchen area and everything worked in our unit, but we did find a few patrons that had problems with their toilet or microwave when they first arrived, but these problems were remedied by the 2nd day according to what they told us. 
We never had any problems with any other patrons and met lots of nice, friendly people that made this trip special.
We also booked a few excursions that took us off-site (Saona Island and Macao Beach and Cave). They were well worth the trip but exposed us to lots of peddlers, so take that in consideration when you go off the resort.
Overall I have to give this resort the highest rating as I think we got a lot of bang for our buck: good value, decent rooms, lots of food and drink, exceptional service, lots of resort sponsored fun if you wanted to be involved and nice, quiet spaces if you didn't.

Nice mid-range resort with off the charts fun!

I am a positive person so I will start with a positive. Food was good and They gave us a free massage to make us for one of the worst vacations I have ever had. I have traveled a lot and stayed in 3-5 star resorts,but have never even thought of writing a bad review at any of them. Let’s face it there is always little issues but give me a good drink and sand with a clean bed I am happy. Lifestyles Punta Cana is one of the worst vacations we have ever had. I will start from the beginning. Check in was a breeze. So we thought we were off to a great start,But we entered our room 1302 and it was nice,but frig was leaking water every where , slapped down a few towels ( huge mistake couldn’t get another towel for our showers) we asked to have the frig fixed they unplugged it and left it in the middle of the kitchen for 2 days. We were right across from the casino so party party till 3:30 am and I love to party , but it was so loud ,no sleep for the wicked and then at 7:30 they started jack hammering on the building next to us.The next night no elevator and when we got to our room it stunk so bad of raw sewage, we had to sleep with the windows open asked for a new room because we seriously thought we may not wake up from the sewage smell. “ sorry no rooms left maybe tomorrow” then we called RCI and they said “ sorry we are not responsible for resorts, nothing we can do” we even would of payed any amount for help, they offered none. Next morning was given New room 1st floor 4105 so we wouldn’t have to deal with the elevators when they went down. Normally not an issue to walk but my husband had an ankle injury and was on crutches. Our new room had 2 single beds and a queen, issue is the two men with us are 6 foot and then some and couldn’t fit in the beds. We had cars parked right up to our sliders and it wasn’t our car,And the cherry for that room was the la cockroaches I stomped on through the night. So next morning back to the office and now it is Wednesday 3 rooms later and we got a decent room. But since we leave on Friday morning we will have had 1 1/2 days to actually enjoy our trip because we spent most of our time down at the main office waiting for someone to help us. As for the service it’s a 50/50 chance of getting someone to help you and I want you to know we tip well and That doesn’t even matter, they just would roll their eyes at you. Not all of them but at least 50%. I tried to just get my own drinks but they don’t service at the beach bar, they tell you to go sit down and someone will take your order. Total craziness. I can not make this up,So all I can say is take all of these reviews as I always and think twice about coming here. I was at lifestyles puerta Plata  5 months ago and had a great time. Unfortunately I will be heading back to vacationing in mexico from now on and I advise you to do the same thing. Unfortunately when I read the reviews I thought hmm it can’t be that bad, yes it is. We were talking to a lot of unhappy people and the ones who were fine with it, said dirty room and cockroaches didn’t bother them as long as drinks were strong ,So let them stay here. 

Wow - please read this review and understand, I have never written a bad review 

Pros:
- proximity to the beach
-adult entertainment during the day (beach volleyball, horse shoe etc)
-children's entertainment at night
- the room we stayed in was large (3 bedroom with kitchen, 2 bath, living room)
- you can bribe the staff with money to stock your fridge with extra beer and water

Cons
- we had to wait at least two hours for our room during check in. Seemed very unorganized and I was honestly questioning if we'd even GET a room
- the food is honestly just not good and it was hard to find food that my toddlers would eat. There is a buffet, which was gross,  the Tomato Basil Restaurant and a Japanese restaurant. The two later restaurants are the way to go. The buffet is also very crowded
- the alcoholic drinks are very water downed and by no means top shelf liquor. 
- the pools, as shown in the picture are much smaller than the appear 
- we lost electricity for 1/2 day. They got everything back up and running fairly quickly but there was a sewage odor that lingered afterwards throughout the entire stay
- there are lots of hagglers annoying you on the beach to buy excursions, get your hair braided or to buy souvenirs etc
- one of the pools had a shallow end that was good for my 4.5 and 3 yr old. They could both touch the bottom of the pool and it is marked off with a gate
- there is a "kids club house". My kids played in it for a little but were for the most part uninterested. It's good though cause it's near the pool with the shallow end and it has a bathroom in case your kid needs to hop out the pool and go!
- if you're looking for a remote location this is not your place. this is right outside downtown punta cana

Decent hotel but would not return

This trip for 5 ladies turning 55 this year was what we all needed ! The apartment was clean with plenty of space and very inviting . The house keeping staff did an excellent job with keeping everything well stocked and surprising us with towel art every day. The check in staff ( Eddie) were very friendly and helpful with questions , along with the VIP staff. 
I haven't mentioned the entertainment and beach servers yet , can I just say they were the absolute best !! Juan, Jefferson, Chupi , Perla got all of us at one time or another involved in activities.
The variety of food and the availability of it was great !
I would go back in a heartbeat and I recommend this resort to anyone that wants a fun filled yet relaxing vacation.

Perfect trip for us older gals !

We had a wonderful week! Juan made sure we always had our glass full while relaxing at the beach.  Jefferson, Chupi and Perla were amazing entertainment!
They made sure you had a great time! Very relaxing and lots of fun.

Great girls getaway

Our trip started out on the wrong foot!! When we arrived at the check-in desk they said we didn't have the rooms we booked 5 months before the trip and that they put us together in a room with two other couples in my party. Which isn't bad if you don't want privacy. After arguing with the manager we did get compensated massage for our wives.
Rooms was big enough and closer to beach but that isn't the point. We didn't get our fridge stocked  or a blow dryer that we asked for on a few occasions. Food, wait staff,bartenders, and entertainment staff all where top notch(melvin,j2,jefferson) saved the trip. So just call ahead and make sure you get your separate rooms>
