Nice little spot with lots of action for those who want to raft, camp, grill and drink. Lots of beer on tap, lots of nice benches and spots to sit, and good camping all around. Then across the river is another pub and the ferry man can take you across or you can cross over the rocks! Only downside is they have limited fire pits, so go early and get a good spot and bring your own fire wood

Camping and rafting and drinking

Having a summer residence in Zlenice know this place from my childhood as a very lively place of all the water people going down the river Sázava or turists visiting nearby castle ruins of "Hláska". In summertime it is good place to have some beers or ice lolly, go swimming and have sunbath on a local meadow. If you want to go on the other side of the river, try to cross it first (in case there is a stone dike jutting out the river). Or if you dont want to go wet ask for local ferryman called "Mates" - the fat one in white-blue stripped T-shirt. 

And well the cuisine.. you know - demanding people from towns should not expect too much from the local cook.. meals are simple and counts that you will have a beer at least. This is a local pub for tramps, not Hilton.
