Stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks fantastic time lovely room and excellent staff . Looked after us very well superb breakfast, a special mention to Mehmet the night porter friendly face always smiling and a new friend. Day staff really friendly and helpful. Thank you for great stay .

This was our first visit to Georgia and Tblisi. We were charmed by the hospitality and personalized service offered by this hotel, it's manager and staff. The British Hotel is an excellent ambassador to tourists visiting Tblisi. Set close to the Metro Station in Rustaveli Avenue, it has a convenient location from which to explore both the Old and New Town.
Our room, on the ground floor, was spacious, and comfortably furnished. Breakfasts over the 3 days we stayed were sumptuous feasts with a variety of Georgian and European food. Tea and Coffee were available at any time. The front office staff were always ready to help with booking restaurants, calling taxis, and always informative. 
We were 4 retired friends taking a holiday together. Having done a lot of traveling, we thought nothing could overwhelm us ...but the hospitality and customer service at the British Hotel Tblisi, certainly did! We can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Very clean, and very good prices, there was a good selection of food available for breakfast, stunning view s overlooking the beautiful harbour. We will definitely stay there again.  Walking distance to  everywhere. We parked  up are car and didn't need it for the two day stay. 

We stayed here in July after previously staying here about four years earlier.  The location is right on the harbour.  We took our eight month old baby with us and the staff were so friendly and smiley towards her.  The breakfast was delicious with fresh orange juice in a jug and delicious eggs.  The room was a good size and there was a bath which was great for our baby,  We would stay here again.  Thanks again.

I just spent a whole pleasant week at the British Hotel in Kyrinia Northern Cyprus

The hotel is situated in the harbour area of Town surrounded by loads of restaurants and bars so the choice of places to eat are right on the door step

I was greeted by the night receptionist as I landed late was taken to my room on the third floor I must say the view from room 302 is the best 

Breakfast is continental with a range of cooked eggs the staff are so eager to help you in any way they can very very friendly 

The hotel is small but very comfortable and clean the rooms are all recently decorated with mini bars air conditioning and flat screen TVs the rooms are cleaned daily the whole place is just very charming 

I had such a restful and pleasant stay at the hotel I want to send my thanks to all the staff there

I would recommend this charming little hotel to all traveling to kyrenia in Northern Cyprus 

Hotel was few minutes away from the castle and infamous harbour. The rooftop had a great complete view as well. Rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. Overall a great option for a budget/economic stay.

I stayed here with a friend earlier this year and had an amazing time. Amazing location right in the heart of the Kyrenia harbour, very friendly and attentive service, clean rooms, rooftop terrace with gorgeous views of the harbour and the Kyrenia castle, only a few minutes walk to the shops. Everything we could have asked for. Small and friendly hotel, highly recommended.

Visited this hotel so many times. Its in great location where you can witness the centuries of  history in North Cyprus. Hotel is very cosy and staff is very friendly and deals with any of your request. They provide fresh orange juice free of charge on breakfast which is surprising compared to other hotels. 

If you expect vanilla , beige , bog- standard sanitised Hilton type accommodation forget it ... 
authentic N Cyprus and wonderful for it ....
We stayed in 3rd floor room - view of harbour / sunrise / sound of call to prayer from mosque during day and music and laughter in evening .. very serious Turkish gentleman serving breakfast with great charm ... smiling and charming ... Hotel “ boss “ very helpful... and knew everyone in Kyrenia .... night porter / waiter / “ Man Friday “ always helpful ...
If you can wait a few minutes for shower to run hot ... and breakfast being chilled , traditional stop here .... if you need pools ; mass produced service ; swerve it ... 
we plan to return regularly !,

I would highly recommend this hotel when staying in Kyrenia, you couldn’t ask for a better location minutes away from the castle and harbour. Rooms are clean and well equipped staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Beds are comfy which is always a bonus. A big thumbs up from me and the views are stunning too 😊

Highly Recommended

Booked the last two available rooms at short notice, one for myself and one for my elderly mother. Both were perfectly adequate as a base of operations for enjoying the sights and delights of Girne and visiting North Cyprus generally.

The rooms had the usual: hairdryers, desks, chairs, TV, kettle, and drinks fridge, and the mattresses on the beds were all new. Both rooms had ensuite bathrooms that were perfectly functional. Bedding and towels were changed frequently (more often than needed really) and rooms were cleaned daily. All the staff we met were friendly, helping us book tours, allowing us to practice our terrible Turkish, etc.

Breakfast was typical Turkish fare and made for a healthy start to the day - several different cheeses, olives, bread, jams, and a choice of egg fried, boiled or omelette, fresh fruit, and tea or coffee. We particulary enjoyed looking out over the waking harbour while eating. There's also a rooftop terrace with fantastic views which we visited repeatedly, though sadly the bar was closed this late in the season.

Whether this is the kind of hotel you would enjoy largely depends - I suspect - on your underlying expectations. For some, the hotel itself is the destination, and things going on outside a bonus. And most of the large new, luxury/casino hotels in Girne are in distant, inconvenient locations anyway.

Our priority was to be in the heart of the old town, near the harbour, wedged in among the promenaders, the buzz, and the many different sights and experiences. The hotel was just a place for sleeping, cleaning and organizing excursions. So the lack of luxury facilities and upmarket decor was a trade-off we willingly accepted.

It's all about location...

Attentive and friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Rooms are small but comfortable. The hotel in general could do with a little update but functional. The location is right by the harbor. The harbour is currently under significant renovations which is clearly significantly impacting businesses in the area.

There are some very mixed reviews about this place so we were really unsure what to expect.  

Check-in was super easy and our room was ready early.  The two gentlemen who run the place are super friendly and helpful, they even gave us an extra breakfast on check in.  Our room had a great view of the Mediterranean and location is very central.  Breakfast was served with a smile and eggs the way you like them.  OJ was fresh squeezed and we rarely had room for lunch afterwards.  The lobby had plenty of charm and we felt totally safe in every way.

With all that said, our experience would have been so much better if the rooms had a deep-clean first.  Things looked clean at first glance but some dust accumulation and the floors really needed a mop and bucket.

So on balance the value was good but could have been great with just a little more cleaning.  

We absolutely loved Cyprus.  Suggest renting a cat and going for a drive, don’t let yourself get stuck in the tourist ghetto around the harbour all day.
