I was impressed. Everything was perfect: the location, service, food, room and environment. I felt great like a guest and the staff treated me like a queen. This hotel is national and historical monument. I felt so happy for staying in the oldest hotel of the city of a great importance for Cuban history

Very joyful experience

This is the oldest hotel in Havana. It has perfect location if you want to walk around Old Havana and discover its charm. Service here is great and food is delicious. The hotel staff is friendly, kind and helpful. The rooms are very clean and spacious.

Live the history lodging in Hotel Inglaterra

Very old but quirky hotel. We chose this for the location (excellent) and because of how much history it had.  The stay was great. We had a front room overlooking Havana and the old cars, but once the balcony windows shut we couldn’t hear Havana anymore, and believe me when I say Havana NEVER sleeps. We did get mythered from some of the hotel staff to change our dollars to Cuban money but we constantly declined as it’s worthless. The Breakfast was an experience, but your in Cuba just embrace it! The added touch of a piano player every morning was amazing

Great unique stay

We really liked this hotel, it was clean, friendly and the roof bar was very nice, even if there were a few ladies of the night who had been brought in by older gentlemen! That is on the tourists though, not the hotel. 

It has a lot of character and is not flashy like some of the other hotels in the centre of Havana. Breakfast buffet has lots of choice and was better than Nacional de Cuba.

The mattresses were really good, we did use earplugs though as in the centre of the city the music goes on until about 1am. This isn’t a criticism, just an observation. 

Staff were very friendly too.

Beautiful Hotel

The Inglaterra is one of the most unique hotels in Habana. If you want a history lesson about Habana this is the hotel to visit. The best part of this hotel is how well preserved the history is in the hotel. You see Spanish design in some of the tiles and the gates in the restaurant. It is located right in the centre of the city so everything is close-by. The hotel rooftop is absolutely incredible at night.

I went to the restaurant to ear on our visit to cuba and we were greated by a waitress Nathalie who was excellent very professional and knowledgeable. She was very prompt and made sure we were good at all times. Her service was so great we would come back to see her many times excellent service.
